Nearby, you will find the old wood-oven bakery (lovely to get warm morning bread) and a traditional grocery with fresh fruits and vegetables.
The alley below the studio enters you to The old Market street, which also leads to the sea front with a row of more restaurants, shops etc.
The studio has a double bed, a single sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen (including a micro wave oven, water boiler, dish washer and a washing machine).
The balcony offers a nice sea view with ferries and small fishing boats departing and arriving day and night. In the evenings you can also see the glittering lights of Mykonos. Above the studio you reach the Kastro area (Venetian Castle) with spectacular views.
At the sea front, to the right of the port and below the ancient temple of Apollo (portara), you can take a morning swim. Close by you will find buses that depart regularly to the beaches, as well as up to the charming villages of the island. All this within 3 minutes' walk.
If you want to be close to what’s happening in town and at the same time stay in a quiet area among “locals”, this is the place.
"Naxos is a Greek island in the South Aegean, the largest of the Cyclades island group. Its fertile landscape spans mountain villages, ancient ruins and long stretches of beach. The namesake capital (also called Hora or Chora) is a port town filled with whitewashed, cube-shaped houses and medieval Venetian mansions. Kastro, a hilltop castle dating to the 13th century, houses an archaeological museum." from google
