ホテル ペルラ マリーナ(Perla Marina)

On arriving for breakfast the first morning after arriving at 3 in the morning the lovely Concierge met us and showed us to our room ( lovely man ) the last thing he said was breakfast until 11.. so we duly arrived down at 10.40 and was immediately told in no uncertain fashion that we were too late!!we managed to grab a bowl of cereal but were refused any milk to put on it!! My husband is 82 years old so I was very annoyed ! Not even a cup of tea could we get … he was adamant !When reading the little info card later I had failed to note that it was til 1030 on week days but 11 on weekends .but the concierge had said 11 so we went with that .Was a very bad start to a much looked forward to holiday ! Loved the room but bathrooms not good … shower curtain over bath for shower and no window or fan available ..cleaning staff excellent lovely and kind.. location is excellent and a little training of this one person in charge of dining room would be great !

Still undergoing renovations early April 2024. Main hotel bedroom are not in use so rooms are across a narrow road behind the main hotel building. If you pay extra for sea view & balcony, your view is partially obstructed by the main building & lower bungalows. Builders arrive with lots of noise ca 8am & noisy all day. When the renovations are finished, the location of the note is still ideal. Average secretion at breakfast but shuts down bang on 10.30. Staff are all great tho.

Sit back and relax? What they did not tell me was that the Hotel would be under refurbishment. This meant building work and noise all day every day. No reading room, no games room. Certainly NOT 4 star hotel. Understaffed and the food was average.

An incredible hotel with sea view, comfortable beds, excellent service and great food made a perfect week away in the sunshine. They even provided a cake and drinks as a surprise for my wifes birthday so the attention to detail is superior and definitely will be returning in the future.

Wet shocked when we arrived to find a building site! Thankfully our room was in the block accross the road and we were unaffected by the building noise. We stayed in February and the whole place was so hot. Even the corridors and restaurant. We had to leave the balcony door open it was crazy. Rooms have a fridge and kettle but no tea or coffee in rooms. Staff very strict at breakfast, husband tried to bring me a croissant as I was unwell and staff rudely said “no, nothing to leave the restaurant”

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Amazing location, the staff are so friendly, great food, fab rooms. Here for Christmas. Can't recommend it highly enough, planning on coming back every year!

Very comfortable room with view, couldn't buy water or snacks at bar Bar staff not friendly beach is gravel but pool is lovely ,I would go here again ,rooms very nice and clean bed made daily along with plenty towels

The staff at this hotel are lovely. The room was adequate and kept very clean. We had paid for a sea view room, which we sort of got but we were in the block across the road from the main building, so the row of bungalows in front of us spoilt the view somewhat. The food was not good. We were half board. Breakfast was a bun fight for the coffee machines and the food was the same every day. The evening meal was worse. Every night there were chips, some sort of pasta and rice. The main courses for the most part were not appetising - the meat on offer whether it was pork or chicken looked and tasted dry, as though it had been on offer for a couple of hours. We were under the impression that this hotel was 500 mts from Nerja. Well it might be as the crow flies but walking into Nerja seemed more like 1500 mts.

Ny husband and I just spent one week In Perla Marina, and we are very pleased with our stay. The main building was closed for guests due to renovation, except for the reception, which is beautiful. All the staff that we met there were very helpful and pleasant. The B- building across a small road is quite nice as well, and even has a swimmingpool on the roof. We got a double standard room without balcony, wich didn’t matter much as it was chilly In the evenings. The room had floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view of the hills. The room was cleaned every day, and the cleaning staff did a good job. All the areas In the hotel ,as we could see ,always seemed clean and tidy. The breakfast was abundant and we were always met with a smile. If I should mention anything on the negative side it would be that the shower was In the bathtub, which made it very slipper for older people. Also there were sone microscopic ants around the basin , but that didn’t bother us. It was impossible for us to find an english speaking TV channel, even when they sent someone to install it. There was always « no signal». We liked the hotel very much. Great location right on the beach and in a more quiet side of the small town. A ten minutes walk to the old town, and plenty of places to eat and drink near by. Actually, you can walk through the town in fourty minutes. Highly recommended!
