We arrive at the hotel late in the evening around 9:00p after a long day. The check-in staff were cordial. Things seemed ok with the room at first. After waking up in the middle of the night, turned on the light to use the bathroom, and we were greeted by roaches (two in the bathroom and one on the kitchen counter. I immediately called the front desk to tell them, and the desk clerk said the hotel was completely full, so they couldn't move us to another room. They offered a refund, but I said we have no where else to go in the middle of the night. They said come by the desk in the morning, and we will work out the refund/discount at checkout. We reluctantly and uncomfortably stayed, but kept the lights on all night, and barely slept. Very restless night. There was another sighting during the night. Then a baby bug sighted the next morning. Oh, did I mention what appeared to be black mold on the wall above the shower. We got out of there the next morning as soon as possible. When we stopped by the desk to check out, I asked about the refund promised from the night before, but they said the manager was not in and would not be there until the next day, and she would call me back. Of course she didn't call me back, so I had to call them. Then when I spoke to her, she said she didn't know about the refund I discussed with the staff. She said when they went in the room, they didn't see any roaches...so I could not get a refund. I shared that I thought the room quality was not befitting of a Marriott Brand property in cleanliness or customer service (I stay at Marriott hotels all the time). I expressed how disappointed I was, with her customer service, and our hotel stay, but it did not seem to matter. There are many other brands out there to choose from. Don't Stay Here. But if for some reason you have to, keep the lights on, and take photos of any sightings, or they won't believe you.
I’ve been here a few times in the past couple of years, and it’s our go-to place when we’re in the area. Positives: + The rooms are in pretty good condition. They have a layout with a reasonable amount of space. + The linens and bathroom were clean. + Plenty of space in the parking lot. + The gym/fitness center had a reasonable amount of space for 2-3 guests, and the equipment is in good condition. + They often have free warm cookies at the front desk. There’s free coffee in the morning. + There’s plenty of counter space in the bathroom. Negatives: - There’s no specific bathroom fan, just a passive vent that takes a while to clear the air. - The halls smell a tiny bit musty. - There aren’t a ton of electrical plugs convenient to the desk. We had to unplug the lamp, etc.
Great hotel. Lots of breakfast options. The rooms were clean. Bigger rooms than some other hotels. Nice pool for kids. Offers late checkout. Several dining options and stores near by. Close to the highway.
ゲゲストThe hotel can't be that old (maybe 5 yrs) and the construction is shotty. We got an ADA compliant room which was fine however it was not s/up for a non-disabled person. No towel rods in the bathroom (you could use the grab bars) and no hook on the back of the door. The tile grout was missing making some tiles loose. The shower head was coming out of the wall. The handrail in the stairwell was coming apart. AND....after our first night the room was made up without replacing our towels which was fine as we hung them up. After the 2nd night and leaving our usual gratuity on the pillow...the GRATUITY WAS GONE, our garbage cans were emptied but nothing else! I reported it to the front desk that apologized and issued us clean towels. She said she would report it to the Housekeeping manager...we heard nothing about it. Debris remained on the floor of the hallway the entire 4 days were there. Overall, disappointing.
DdarrenaE5540GXThis was definitlely my worst hotel experience ever. I have to stay at conferences frequently, and I will be avoiding Hilton and any Hilton brands whenever possible. To be fair to this hotel, I'll start with the one positive: the line staff, for the most part, was very friendly. That leads me to believe it is more of a management problem (that extends beyond this one hotel), and - goodness - the problems run deep! So, here are my criticisms: (1) The room was disgusting. There was dust all over the table and furniture, and a mold-like smell everywhere. The floor had a blood-like stain in several spots going from the tv to the bathroom, as you can see in the pictures. (2) I paid extra for the executive floor, and - believe me - you're wasting your money if you decide to do the same. I don't believe there actually is any concierge service (when I tried, I was told I would be contacted later, and I never was). The executive lounge was hardly ever open (even during the advertised hours), and when it was it, was hardly ever stocked. It apparently doubled as the employee break room, because that was all I saw in there on the two occasions my card actually allowed me access to the room. (3) The heating and air unit was broken. When I arrived, the entire 9th floor was 80 degrees. When I tried using adjusting the AC unit, I saw why. The regulator appears to be broken. If you turn on ”heat,” it heats up regardless of the room temperature and continues to heat up regardless. Same for the cool setting. So you either get 80-plus degrees or 65-minus degrees. It was impossible to get the room at a comfortable temperature. (4) I only received one towel for an entire 4-night stay, and couldn't understand why. (5) The parking situation is terrible. If you plan to ever leave in your car to go out into the town, it will cost a pretty penny because every single time you leave, you're paying $11. (6) I ran into a woman who had an even worse experience than mine in the elevator. She had been assigned a room that was already booked, and walked into the room and encountered another woman on the toilet! (7) MOST IMPORTANTLY, I was with a crew that had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I had called early and spoken to someone (via the 1-800 number), and was given assurances about an accomodation. I asked at the front desk, and was told the manager would contact me about it. I never was. A once-in-a-lifetime experience was ruined, and I don't think I can forgive Hilton brands for that.
This motel is short staffed. Upon checking in no one was at the front desk. The smell from cigarette smoke comes in the rooms from people smoking outside the rooms. I had to change rooms because the cigarette smell in the first room was too strong. The telephone in the room does not work so there is no way to contact the front desk. I've had to walk to the front desk twice due since I checked in due to issues I've had with the rooms. The TV in the room I am currently in is NOT working. Unfortunately, there is no one available to fix it. The staff is friendly and the room is okay, but I probably will not stay here again. You get what you pay for. Spend a little extra and stay at a Hilton or Marriott.
RRebecca MLooks can be deseving. When seeing the lobby I thought This is really nice and our children are gonna enjoy themselves. Boy was I wrong! I don't even know where to begin. Made reservations online for a week soon as we arrive got our key for the room my family and I were greeted by a roach . The towels were dingy with spots. The blankets had burnt holes fridge was dirty The outlet cover was half cracked. The claw marks on the bathroom door from animals and it smells like an animal kennel with cat piss smell ,trash mildew, and Old bleach. I am from the front desk of the roaches and the burn marks I was told that they would send maintenance down haven't seen maintenance from that day till this day housekeeping does not knock on the door to see if you need anything you have to physically run them down and no one speaks English they use their phone to interpret what to say. False advertisements there's no continental breakfast my kids thought that they were going to go swimming needless to say the pool is out of order along with the ice machine. They're very rude at the front desk they don't know how to speak to people. Everyday a few times in the day my key card had to be reactivated. We were killing roaches and flies all day every day. We were better off camping outdoors . They had a few events that took place and the music was so loud you could feel the vibration. People running and screaming threw the hallway starting around 1am until about 4am. During checkout we asked about our points to get free nights you earned. (The stay should be free always) We were told that we had to ask to be signed up for the Rewards before paying for the room and give them the rewards number which is impossible when they (Receptiones) are supposed to give it to the customer. Then said that I wasn't on the rewards program. Which is Bull. I then logged in my account in front of her she then said that we don't have any points when you receive them when your supposed to receive them every day your there 12 days and not 1 point . This place is full of and they respond to everyone's review the same especially about the bugs and the Pest Control Company they say they use. Please I'm warning you Don't Stop Here. You will definitely regret it!!
