This beautifully restored historical building sits in a prime and walkable location to the best of NOLA and the french quarter. Just beside Canal Place shopping center and the Mississippi River, it is our new go to choice when we visit New Orleans. Other reasons to consider include self parking, cozy rooms and comfortable beds, an outstanding staff, and amazing first floor to work, read or just hang out. One of the best updated bathrooms in the quarter -stay here for that reason alone. And then there are the views of the Mississippi River. Will definitely be staying here again.

Besides being in a beautifully restored sugar mill, this hotel is in a great location, just on the edge of the French Quarter. It’s very walkable to the action by way of the Riverfront Park or city sidewalks. We did get 10,000 steps a day. There are also breakfast options close by.

We really liked where the property is located right on edge of French Quarter so easy for cabs, buses to get to, but away from the madness of bourbon street. Very close to river and everything you need. Staff was helpful. I’d go back.

Great weekend get away spot, clean, comfortable, great location for walking French Quarter w/o being right in the middle of it.

Fabulous weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a perfect weekend. We could walk to lots of places and the room was great. We will definitely be back.

Overall our stay was good. Nice clean up-to-date rooms and pleasant lobby area. Our friends who were with us unfortunately had to change rooms as it was raining heavily one of the days and water was coming and running down their wall. They did offer for them to change rooms which they took. It’s a good thing they had an extra room for them to move to, but still a hassle when you have to move all your unpacked things. My two complaints are as follows: 1. The hotel locks the door to one of their entrances at night. That is fine, but it also happens to be the only handicapped accessible entryway. As someone who needed to use that entrance, it was a hassle and irritating to have someone with you run around to the other entrance and ask a staff person to unlock the door to let you in. Really? I suggest they do better on that front. If they need to lock a door then choose one that some people aren’t dependent on. 2. We signed a form at the beginning stating we wanted room cleaning anytime after 10 am. After our room wasn’t cleaned we inquired about it and a staff person told us we had to ask for every day to receive it. Perhaps do better explaining your process to guests. Again, It was a fine place stay, but for the price, I think their are better options in Nola and the French Quarter.

Property has been nicely renovated and is in a great area for walking around the French Quarter. Only issues were that the bar closes at 9pm and there is a train next to the property that blows its horn loudly during sleeping hours every night.

Beautifully done building. Amenities were awesome with lots of special extras. Front desk staff (Victor, Steven amd Eskarlet) were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends. Great hotel in a fantastic location. Wonderful staff and very reasonable price. Thank you. Scott and Lisa Calvin
