I checked in at midnight on a Tuesday. The gentleman at the desk was kind and checked me in quickly. I went to my room - 160- and opened the door (at midnight) to adult male in the room with a bicycle. Ok I ran back to the front desk- they tell me how that person should have checked out the night before but like..
They didn't check? They didn't do housekeeping? So unsafe - I am a young female traveling alone. The next room I was given is 284 - I open the door and immediately think someone is in the room again, bed is unmade, soap and towels all used. Back to the front desk. Had to wait for the guy to come back from yelling at the guy in 160 to get out. He finally gives me an "upgrade" to a double bed room-- just to make sure I can get a clean room, I was given 205. Finally a clean room but I didn't need two beds.... and now I was by the other 2 bed rooms so I had families and lots and lots of noise. Thin walls, door between rooms so you could hear EVERYTHING. Blankets were super thin and no extra blankets were available. Thermostat is from the 80s so you have a hard time getting it a comfortable temperature. 3 nights, 4 days and only 1 housekeeping visit. Overall my experience was tainted because they gave me a room key to open a door to an adult man's room. I could have been attacked and it was completely unsettling.
