We stayed in a comfort room that had decent beds, a Nespresso coffee machine and Rituals in the shower. The rain shower is amazing, so is the toilet but not in a positive way. The toilet is completely open, no privacy at all. Which might be fine for some people, but that was the only downside. And the lady at the desk assured us that not all rooms have the same setup. Other than that very friendly helpful staff, a decent breakfast, lots parking and I will definitely go back,

Excellent start to a 5 day bike tour;Nijkerk, Apeldoorn, Hoenderloo,Amersfoort. Helpful friendly staff, comfy large room on main floor with outside deck. Super filling buffet breakfast included, won’t need lunch! Adjacent restaurant has good food beer and wine. English welcomed and no problems.

Excellent service on the first stop of a bike tour from Nijkerk- Apeldoorn-Hoenderloo- and Amersfoort. They had excellent setup for bikes, large room on main floor with outside deck. Supper breakfast included. Friendly helpful staff. Adjacent restaurant had good food and good beer. English spoken by easily. Would definitely go again.

They have an events hall next door, where they throw parties - the base shakes the windows and they carry on until 1am ... then clean up..nightmare. No refund and no solution offered. I asked and the place next door has a license

We have been frequent visitors to this hotel over many years. We have watched it grow but not loose any of its charm. We absolutely love it ! All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly . The hotel is nice and clean, beds extremely comfortable, love the breakfast where the staff pamper you with no request too much trouble. With the new technology no need for loads of paperwork, plastic keys at check in - you receive an email with your electronic key 👏 We look forward to our next visit.

This is a really nice hotel, and we come back gladly to it (second time for NYE now). The rooms are squeaky clean and all amenities are available, you open the door with your phone, everything is super easy and comfortable. Beds are heaven and the shower gel is Rituals. You really feel taken care of, in this hotel.

We love love love this hotel. Whenever we are in Nijkerk we want to stay at De Rode Schuur! I usually sleep for 10 hours a night in their beds.It is so comfortable.

Nice hotel with good services, the personnel was very friendly and helpful. We received a baby bed free of charge with even a little toy for our baby to keep. There is a restaurant next door and the location is close to several cities and activities for visitors.
