Have stayed P&pool since they opened, approximately 25 visits. Last visit I was rudely told to not park my motor scooter in front of my bungalow by male staff from office. We moved it when we left for dinner. Came home late and thought we’d be ok to park, it’s never been a problem before and everyone else does it. 10am next morning we are packing to check out and a lady comes from office pounding on our door, she was so rude and abusive. Demanding we move it immediately. So disappointed as I have praised this place from when they first opened and recommended so many friends to go. Cleaning staff are lovely kind people, the ones in office and check in need a lesson in hospitality. I approached them when checking out and tried to reason with them but just rude and arrogant, so so disappointed after such a long relationship with this business. Also sent email they didn’t respond. The bike was not blocking anyone or a safety issue. It was on my bungalow area that I had paid for A message to the guys on big bikes on road trips, they want you to leave your bike in car park near front entrance.
I stayed at the Royal Jomanee Heritage Hotel for two nights while visiting Nong Khai, and it was a really pleasant experience.
The room was clean and had everything I needed—a comfy bed, air conditioning, and a fridge for keeping drinks cold. It’s not fancy, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for something simple and affordable.
The location is great, close to the Friendship Bridge and a short drive to the riverfront markets. It made exploring the area really convenient.
The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. They even gave me some tips on where to find the best local food.
Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re visiting Nong Khai and want something comfortable without breaking the bank.
