オリパァント ブティック ヴィラ バイ アマヤ(Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya)

The place itself is wonderful given that it's surrounded by mountains. But the best thing about this place was the people and service provided! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food is out of this world!!! Every meal we had was sooooo delicious! Thank you to the chefs and all those who work there for making our stay at Oliphant truly memorable!

The boutique hotel was located on a hill among tea plantations and locals. The children quickly make friends. a penny or candy is always nice. The spacious garden immediately invited for a rest with a nice cup of tea and cookies. In the evening, during dinner, it was very cozy at the fireplace. the company was all travelers from Europe. We were offered to have breakfast outside. delicious ! we enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a gem in Nuwara Eliya. Small hotel which gives you a « home feeling». We were here for two nights and had a great experience! The surroundings are so beautiful, you can walk up to the tea plantations. We asked to have breakfast outside both days and it was really nice. The room and the bqthroom is spacious, beautifully decorated, The food is very good! And the staff is very polite and nice. I would highly recommend this place and definately come back.

This is the most comfortable and cozy stay I’ve ever had. The place is a 160years old house that’s been converted to a small hotel the last 5 years. It’s well kept and well maintained. The place is so relaxing, quiet surrounded by scenic nature and is placed in the middle of a tea plantation. The food is amazing. The staff is excellent and will go to any length to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil setting amongst the highest elevation tea estate in Nuwara Eliya, with an old world colonial luxury vibe. Oliphant house exceeded our expectation, it was the highlight of our entire trip in Sri Lanka, when compared to our stays at other hotels at similar price points. The entire team at Oliphant house were the perfect hosts, with great service and attention to detail. Food was delicious, and do try the Sri Lankan cuisine. Thank you to the chefs! It was refreshing not to be amongst the hordes of tourists. So if you are looking for a personalised service experience and attention; and truly relax, this is the place. Our room was tasteful furnished, with a large four poster bed, huge bathroom, and a couch. Very clean and spacious. Highly recommend to go for a walk and explore the surrounding tea estate as well as meeting the locals. We would go back to Sri Lanka, just to go back to Oliphant House.

It was at great location Peaceful and quite . We did not regret it going there. The staff are very best assets to the hotel. Nothing was too small for them. Breakfast is ala carte and the the dinner same. The chef did excellent job making food to the taste. We stayed for two night however next time we will increase the days. We did not mind going for sightseeing from here as its only 20 minutes away.

Incredibly friendly staff. Good food and comfy room. Felt a little old fashioned and in need of some refurbishment in places but for a short, overnight stay it was very pleasant. Quiet, peaceful setting, clean and comfy. Good value for money.

As others have said, can be noisy as it is quite small. Its a tiny bit Fawlty Towers. Yes its not isolated from other houses and its not close to town. But it is high and cool. And after dinner and the washing up (!) it is quiet. Nothing to do apart from walk up through the tea farm. No real drinks, no refrigerator. Nice decor though

If u want a luxurious colonial experience , I recommend oliphant. Set in a old world colonial bungalow with amazing view, it really is a welcome break from the hustle bustle of daily life. The hotel has all the modcons we need, while retaining the old world feel. Special thanks to Mr laxman fir going the extra mile to make 7s comfortable
