Small hotel with 7 or 8 Rooms. Rooms with Balcony facing Lake is Best. There is a small Restaurant on site. Chef Rohit is superb with his dishes presented beautifully. Staff is very eager to help. Views of Lake from Restaurant. You also have a small garden where they put up dining chairs. Being right near open space of lake might have sound issues coming from several open shops playing loud music. Hotel very close to city which is walking distance

My wife and I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was spacious, well equipped with a beautiful view of the lake and parkland area. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stay only one night, absolutely amazing place clean rooms , very helpful staff , delicious food , you must try chef special seafood fried rice thanks chef Asanka make to us nice dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended. Definitely we will back again Hasitha Dissanayake- Colombo

I recently stayed at the Royal Lake Hotel in Nuwara Eliya and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, as it's just a 2-minute walk to the lake, and my balcony room had a stunning view of the lake which was truly mesmerizing. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, and my bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs, which made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dinner, and the breakfast was superb, offering a variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend staying at the Royal Lake Hotel for anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya, as it truly exceeded my expectations and made my trip even more memorable."

Royal Lake hotel is the best hotel in Nuwara Eliya. I have been in Nuwara Eliya numerous times, finally I found my home away from home. Price is excellent comparing to the rest of well recommended hotels. I have stayed with my family for a weekend, honestly I am so happy we found this place.. not only that but also the hotel gave for us best service ever. I have travelled all over the world, but this Sri Lankan personal & up-close service is heartwarming. I am a hotelier myself & very picky about the services. I am so surprised the services I had from this hotel. Staffs are very friendly, attentive, and professional. We felt very special from the beginning to the end. Beautiful garden facing the lake Gregory gives the additional value to this beautiful property. Surely can make you feel like your home. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed, which I have ever slept on. Bathroom is super clean. So, we had some greats nights with the lake view. Breakfast was superb. We were very happy with our stay & didn’t want to leave. Actually, we had best stay ever in Nuwara Eliya and definitely we will be back next year. I will recommend this place to everyone. One more advise, please plan the trip only to Nuwara Eliya at least for 3 to 4 nights since lot to do with this hotels comforts. Trevor
