アルゴイ ゾンネ(Allgau Sonne)

The moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly staff. They offer valet parking, which I suggest using because the parking garage is very compact. The decor of the lobby and dining rooms were mixed quite well, complimenting eachother between Old & New. The bar was lively with a band and outgoing wait staff. The rooms were again mixed with Bavarian and modern styles. I would like to see a larger TV, but the giant sliding doors and the incredible views give you enough to look at. I would stay again without question.

The hotel is beautiful... The interior very impressive. The room was simple and rather small but very nice and had a beautiful view. Upon arrival we were greeted by Annelise Smajli - the sweetest, nicest receptionist ever. A lovely welcome, very professional work and she made our trip because we felt right at home ! The breakfast was superb. Dinner, however, was not good and we ended up leaving the food in our plates. Shame...

My wife and I stayed a week at Allgäu Sonne for hiking, biking and golf. The stay was great. We enjoyed a spacious junior suite with wonderful view of the mountains. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel offered delicious food and wine, a lavish breakfast buffet and great gym and wellness facilities. The only downside was the weather - 50% clouds and rain. The hotel should have done a better job providing for sunshine :-).

Our second visit to Allgäu Sonne. We came for my daughters birthday because she loved her first stay so much. Great service, very kind and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast buffet and in house restaurant. The Spa areas and pool are also very well kept and spacious.

The location of the hotel on a hill is wonderful. on the opposite side of the valley is the mountain Hochgrat, nearly 1.900 meters. Everything was beautifully covered with snow and was shining. All Staff is very helpful and customer-oriented, most of them work here since long time. Check-In was smooth, we were given room 611, on top of the building. They brought our car to the hotels garage. Everything in the building is well maintained. Especially beautiful is the main dining hall, decent lighting, very clean, pleasant ambience. Same is true with regard to the Panorama Bar. The room was of medium size and has a balcony with 2 chairs. The bathroom and the sink are really tiny. Everything is working. Internet, TV. Some features are not practical: just behind the entrance door there is a wall panel. When you hang there cloth, it is next to impossible to open/slide the door. The handle for regulating heat is placed in a way that it is next to impossible not to hit your head. Bed is ok. Breakfast includes a really vast offer, very good, on demand they prepare egg dishes. If you book half pension, there are several menu options. Many activities are being offered. There is an indoor pool of 12 m. The village is located 15 minutes downhill and it is nice.

It was my first stay at the hotel and can definitely recommend it. I booked a 4 night package which included half-board and 3 treatments at the Wellness Center. On arrival, my car was taken to the underground parking which I recommend to book as there is not that much parking or if you aren't comfortable parking along a narrow road. The room was lovely and although it was a single room, it was very spacious. The breakfast buffet offers everything you can think of and the dinners (if you book half-board) are a 5 couse delicious meal. On Sundays, there is a 7 course gala dinner which was outstanding. The spa area is spacious with a big pool, massage and beauty center. There is also a small boutique and a hair dresser. The hotel also offers many sports activities from Yoga to gynmastics or guided hikes - for free. The town of Oberstaufen is merely a 10 mins walk away. If you seek a place to recharge your batteries, this is the place to be!

This hotel made us feel incredibly welcome. we arrived in a blizzard and the staff not only parked our car, they also took all our luggage to our apartment for us. All staff were very friendly. The reception staff recommended that we took the half board option. We were not sure, since we have had less good experiences with this at other German hotels. However we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Every course was completely different and there was something for everyone. The Spa was also gorgeous with an excellent pool and hot tub. I liked the location since it was only a short walk into the little town, great in the snow. We will definitely be coming here again. Next time we will choose a different room. we had an apartment which meant leaving the building to get to the Spa and restaurants. We were aware of this before we arrived, but having seen the site would chose differently next time.

In diesem wunderschönen Hotel fühle mich immer sehr sehr wohl! Alles ist von bester Qualität und Klasse! Das Hotelzimmer, das Servicepersonal und sogar die Schrothkur exzellent! Ich komme regelmäßig und immer gerne wieder in dieses Wohlfühlhotel! Das Hotel ist sehr gut geführt und ich fühle mich überall wohl von der Panoramahalle bis zum Hallenbad. Schön dass es so ein schönes Haus gibt!

Herzlichen Dank für das schöne Wochenende in der Allgäu Sonne. Unsere Suite 319 war hervorrangend im zeitliosen und sehr geschmackvollen Design, ein Hammer riesiger Balkon, tolle Ausstattung, Mega Bad, alles wirlich Spitzenklasse und ohne das Messing-Tam-Tam vergleichbarer Hotelburgen im Allgäu oder im Schwarzwald. Sehr gediegene Materialien, sehr wertige und enorm geschmackvolle Ausstattung auch im Restaurant und im Foyer. Pool-Bereich ist ein Gedicht und vom Design ein wirklicher Leckerbissen. Schlichte Eleganz, hohe Qualität, sollte Raumverhältnisse - einfach zum verlieben. Tipp: morgens in der Früh ist der Berich fast leer und grandios beleuchtet von der Sonne die über die Berge kommt. Herrlicher Blick in die verschneite Landschaft nach draußen. Der Service Abends in der Bar hatte einen Hänger und Kuinarik im Restaurant hätte noch ein bisschen Potenzial nach oben. Alles guuut! wir kommen wieder. Danke für das wunderschöne Erlebnis in Ihrem Hotel!
