Check in was a breeze, because we already had booked and paid with ******* I only needed to provide my vehicle information, and a debit or credit card for incidentals but there was no hold placed on my card. Even though it was off season, and hotel was under staffed the room was very clean and available early. The garden view balcony was perfect and opened up right into the beach. Would definitely stay again. We were very pleasantly surprised.

I’ve stayed twice and we had a lovely time on both occasions. We wished the coffee maker allowed for substitution of a better grade of coffee, but otherwise everything was excellent. Perfect location. Very friendly staff.

Wi-Fi was weak and they don't use a password. Nice big TV but it was difficult knowing the channels - they don't use a good provider. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small. Nice kitchenette. Personnel were pleasant.

Property is ideally located for the beach, boardwalk and shopping. Disappointed in presentation of the bill which charges $30.00 for housing your spouse as an additional guest. Search for ALL additional charges before booking....

As advertised hotel was right on the beach. The balcony was very nice. I was concerned when I drove up but couldn't find the office to register. Finally thought maybe the office was in a sketchy building across the parking lot. Was getting concerned but we were in the other building. Our room was ok. I wish we'd stayed in a hotel with a restaurant. My stay was very relaxing. Just what I needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dunes! The staff was friendly, the room was exactly as described! Spacious, nice kitchenette well-equipped and updated. Very happy to have a full refrigerator. The bathroom was also updated (thank you for the towel and robe hooks) The balcony was nice sized with great chairs. I'm a larger person and it was wonderful to have a comfortable chair to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The location is perfect at the end of the boardwalk, easy on to the tram.

At the very end of the boardwalk so be ready to walk but it is away from the hustle and bustle that is “the beach”

Was very leary when I saw 2 bugs in the sink upon arrival and am not sure what kind they were. I grabbed a paper towel and smashed both of them and decided if I saw more I would report. Housekeeping services was very good. Very friendly and helpful. Front door appears to have been kicked in and cold air was coming in. I’ve been coming to Dunes Manor and Suites every year since Santa Maria closed except for one time. Will continue to come.

Easy booking and check in. Beautiful view. Nice, clean room with a private balcony. Within walking distance to a lot of places!
