ノック アパートメンツ(Nock Apartments)

First, I was contacted by the manager asking for the payment to be made cash or money order or I would have to pay a $40 for paying with a credit card. Second, the distribution of the property is incorrect, it says it sleeps 17, it might sleep 10comfortably. Third, the bathroom door in the front of the apartment needs a new handle, when u go in u get stuck and u will need someone to open it for u from the outside. Forth, the apartment was not clean, I belive they do not change the bedding between customers. They asked us to bring our own bedding, they should ether keep the bed without any bedding or change the bedding and the customer can their own as well. Fifth, there is mold on the shower door.

My friends and I had one of the worst experiences ever with the landlord/house owner. It was our senior week this past week and 14 of us stayed in a place of this family’s. We didn’t get the house we ordered, we had flies everywhere upon arrival, the floors were filthy with sand and dirt, there was mold in the air conditioning units and they caused one of us to get very sick, lack of hot water in both showers, and there were previously broken appliances that the landlord made us pay for with a “security deposit.” The owners knew of the broken appliances and made us pay for them even though there was evidence (via pictures with time stamps) proving that we did not break the appliances. We are beyond pissed and hope no one makes the mistake of renting from this family.

We were very happy with the comfort of the bed, the friendliness of the owner, and the location couldn't be beat. We had the 2 bedroom apt and they even gave us a first floor apt due to us being older with mobility issues.

The night we checked in we got a phone call at 1015 saying we had to move the next morning because they put us in the wrong room. We have four small children and a weeks worth of groceries that we now had to pack up and move. They didn’t call us the next day until 1230 to tell us we had to be out by 230 and we were already at the beach enjoying our vacation. They refused to give us any discount for their mistake and told us we were an inconvenience because now they had to clean the room they put us in. Our new room had 1 less bed than we were told and the pull out couch was broken and dangerous if not pulled out very carefully. The room had hair from previous occupants and there were coffee grounds all over the counters. Will never stay here again.

The location was a 30 second walk to the beach and boardwalk. The owners were pleasant. The apartment was clean and spacious. Overall it was a great stay and we would go back again
