Frederic Koklen Boutique Hotel

A quiet and friendly hotel ghat matches the charm and elegance of Odesa. I was on a work trip, but thd Frederic Koklen is located within walking distance of thd Opera House and other major tourist sites. Very pleasant stay.

We loved our stay at this place. Situated very central, close to all entertainment , yet on quiet street . Enough parking space, which is quite important in a city center. Our room situated on a fourth floor, Spanish floor they call it. Also there are Italian and French floors. All are decorated accordingly. It’s really awesome! Completely renovated historical building, with modern amenities. We had a standard double, which is pretty spacious, feels more than 25 m2. Breakfast included, great one, plenty to choose from, in a high end restaurant downstairs . Excellent service for a reasonable price! Highly recommend .

Well located, near good restaurants and shops at a walking distance. Quiet street. Excellent restaurant - please try the borsh soup or the pumpkin soup, that were delicious, as well as the main courses. All the employees were very polite and available.

We stayed here for 3 days in October 2021 and absolutely fell in love with it. My wife and I stayed in two bedroom suite with our friend and enjoyed every moment of it. Bedrooms are private and fully separated with a common living area and a balcony. It is perfectly design to have a rest, and a great living area in between to hangout and socialize. The hotel is very nice, cozy and clean. It is uniquely designed having each room and floors representing different themes. The staff was friendly, very helpful and absolutely amazing, shout out to the team, especially Alex at the receptionist area, Irina, Oksana the manager, and Alex who gave us a ride to the train station and airport. Hotel is conveniently located for activities and restaurants right in the city center of Odessa in a walking distance to the historical Potemkin's stairs, Opera, Privoz, Deribasovskaya Str, gardens. While staying there, we highly recommend to visit restaurant Kumanets with such a delicious Ukrainian cuisine ($) and Oblako ($$) with a beautiful 360 degree view of Odessa and sea port. We highly recommend it - you will not regret!

I've lost track of how many times I have stayed at this hotel. I love everything about it and service keeps getting better. Chat reception is the best for instant response to special needs: flowers, taxi, document printing, and Covid testing appointments to name a few services available as a current guest or future guest. Although triple vaxxed, I prefer to dine in my room. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. The staff is like "family" and handles all issues with ease.

It was our first time visiting Odessa, and we did not want to stay on one of the busier streets. We wanted something private, yet close to the old city center. Basically, we were trying to avoid all the touristy crowds. We chose Frederic Koklen Hotel and loved it! It's located only one block from the main street and within maybe a 10-min walking distance to Deribasovska St. The hotel is old-style glamor but with modern amenities - it does not feel old. It's clean, private, and glamorous. Both of our rooms were lovely; bathrooms were gorgeous. Chocolates on our pillows were a sweet and appreciated surprise! We dined in the restaurant twice - once for dinner and then later for breakfast. Dinner was great - yummy food and fast service (for Ukraine). Breakfast we loved just as much, if not better. Coffee was excellent (we got 3 each!) and all the food was delicious. It was really a home away from home. Would definitely stay again.

Very charming rooms with comfortable beds and clean baths. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in a good area for seeing city centre.

I loved my extended stay at Frederic Koklen! The location is walkable to all the parks, restaurants, theatres, and sites of Odessa. The staff speaks English and always greets you with a smile. All the service staff take great pride in their work with focused attention to detail. The variety of breakfast items always got your day off to a good start. This hotel will make you feel at home in Odessa.
