Clean and nice hotel, you can book the lake view room, easy to go everywhere

SU Hotel is in the best location in Ohrid and has a wonderful bar and restaurant. The hotel room is simple and dated, but clean and with a great view of the lake or the mountains. This is the perfect hotel if you want to be on the lake and around the main street of Ohrid.

Excellent location. Stayed in the Superior Room with a view of the lake - gorgeous view and loved the balcony. The hotel common areas were decorated nicely for Christmas. However, the evening music was extremely loud and did not make for a restful stay. Great place to stay if you want to stay up late and partake in the music and bar scene on site; but not a great location if you go to bed earlier and want a restful stay. Unfortunately that is why I am giving the hotel a lower rating

Pleasant rooms and good breakfast but I cannot recommend this hotel. They really need to decide if they want to be a bar or a hotel. Ridiculous noise levels in the evenings. On complaining I was told that all hotels in Ohrid are like this at weekends. They're not! We walked all the way back from the old town and commented that we were glad we weren't staying one particular hotel. Then got to ours where the noise was even worse!

Excellent location for an excellent price. The bar at the hotel is thriving, even on weekdays.

This is a nice hotel with lovely rooms and friendly staff but as many reviewers have pointed out before me( and it’s a big but )the music is very intrusive and goes on to 1am. So if you are a person who likes a good nights sleep this hotel should be avoided at all costs. We had a lovely room right at the front of the hotel but a live band started playing at around 11 at top volume, so much so that the base could be felt in the room. We went down and complained but there was nothing they could do but promised to try and move us, which they did the next day to a room furthest away from the front. This was significantly better with much less noise. Whoever owns this hotel gives more consideration to the bar than to their guests at the hotel. Breakfast was very good but I would strongly recommend anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere unless they are prepared to be sleepless until 1am.

Books in large groups but elevator fits only one person with luggage at a time. Wasn’t even working at one point in our two night stay. Had to drag luggage up three flights of circular stairs. No help from staff. Final insult was being forced to pay 10€ for lost key which was a white plastic card with no ID of either room or hotel. It has to be used for power in the room so no way to secure it in my bag until I left the room. Musta fallen out of my pocket while still on the property for breakfast. But they absolutely insisted on the lost key fee for a piece of white plastic with no markings. Pirates I say!
