Disappointed upon arrival was told there was no hot water. They knew this one day before but didn't bother to call us. I met my friend who had driven from Houston and myself from Minneapolis so we were in no mood to find another location. Ash at the front desk told us he didn't know when it would be fixed. We opted to stay and he did upgrade us to a larger room. Overall the property is very nice and well maintained and I appreciated the kind and positive service that Ash gave us. Our room was on the main floor which was great as we had two small dogs. The breakfast area was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you!
This hotel and staff were phenomenal! I was in Kansas City for an extended stay (over 30 days), and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to other business travelers. When I arrived just before New Year's, many of the staff had signed cards with good wishes for the New Year - it was such a kind and personal touch. Sydney, Stephanie, Hailey, Rueben, and Armando were the best at making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. They were so kind and greeted me by name daily. The personal touch adds so much! John, Sam, and Robin at the Terrace Restaurant offered friendly service along with delicious food & drink. Misty and the housekeeping staff kept the room spotless! She always greeted me and was so kind to make sure I had everything I needed. Not only was the room always kept up, but the entire property was pristine! Honestly, for someone that spends 200+ nights a year traveling - the staff at a property make all the difference. This hotel is wonderful, but the staff here is the reason I would happily stay here again!
Second time a this hotel. The front desk staff are awesome (early evening shift, no experience with morning/day). The hotel is going thru a refresh so hopefully updating the extremely dated rooms. The first time I stayed on the third floor it was nice, this last time stayed on the second floor, and had a smokey smell to it in the hallways despite the non smoking signs all over. The beds overall are okay. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is standard as other Hampton Inns. I have stayed at quiet a few as a hilton diamond member with work travel. Will stay again, just hoping for the rooms to be all updated. The staff and cleanliness is what makes it for me.
