This hotel doesn't live up to the advertiements or star rating. My room was in need of a complete renovation, there was peeling paint, a smelly fridge, 'tired furniture' and an unpleasant smell from the drains. The bathroom had black mould in a number of areas, a loose toilet seat and was generally an unpleasant place to be. The all inclusive food and drink was dreadful. The hot food in the buffet restaurant (which was actually more like a canteen) wasn't, it was at best luke warm, and the scrambled eggs I had at opening time were cold. I don't understand how this can happen with supposedly recently cooked food, but it did. I also found a fly in a piece of chocolate cake. I asked at reception where the a la carte restaurant was as we were booked in for a night as part of our all inclusive deal, and was surprised to be told it was just a hard standing area below the swimming pool with some table and chairs on it. I wasn't expecting the inclusive local drinks to rival the gin and scotch I drink at home, but neither was I expecting alternatives that not only didn't taste anything like the spirits they were supposed to be, but were actually oversweet and disgusting. When I told the barman the whisky was terrible he just laughed, which pretty much captures the level of customer service on offer at this hotel. There were also a number of people who appeared to think that being on an all enclusive holiday mandated that as much alcohol as possible should be consumed in as short a period of time possible. This led to language and behaviour that I think parents of young children thinking of visiting would want to know about. Not family friendly. It woon't come as a shock that my advice would be to find an alternative to the Garcia if you're going to holiday in Oludeniz.
