The staff was exceptional. Service was great. We were dog tired. We had been driving nearly 14 hours straight with kids and grandkids. ARRGGG! I had reserved three rooms for our families. My room (Dissabled,107) however was horrible. It smelled strongly and very notably like raw sewage. I let the front desk know in person, that night, but was so tired and exhausted I did not want to mess with one more thing. I turned on the fan, took a hot shower hoping the steam would help evacuate it. I finally fell asleep at 3AM, not due to affixation, just sheer exhaustion to the point the smell didn't matter. By morning it had seemed to dissipate. Perhaps the P-trap in the shower had evaporated enough to let gasses get into the room? I do not know. Other than that the night was relatively quiet, beds comfortable, bedding very light, I prefer heavier blankets. The rest of my family said they did well but both my kid and grandkids in room 207 got bug bites in several places. I let the front desk know. My family checked the mattress for bed bugs but did not see any remnants. I still let the front desk help know. She was very helpful and incredibly sensitive to our concerns, as was the night help. I will be calling the hotel directly, Tuesday morning to request a refund for my room. I hope that ******* will see this report and honor it as well. I do not expect much from *******.
