Table booked for a family members birthday , service was faultless and food was fantastic . One of our group was gluten free and the staff made sure she was well catered for . The highlight of my meal was the steak served with a hot stone so you could cook it to your desired taste at the table , would definitely recommend and the sauces the steak was served with were the freshest I ever been served ! Would I go here again ? YES can’t wait ! Would I recommend going for a meal here ? Absolutely ,you won’t be disappointed ! Thank you team Murray Arms 😊

We had a family meal out for a big birthday. Everything was lovely and served beautifully. I had the steak on hot stone, and I can safely say it was the best steak I’ve ever had! A lovely cut of beef, served alongside delicious sauces and seasoning. It was a real treat to have a dining ‘experience’ as opposed to just a meal. The rest of the family had fish and chips, which everyone enjoyed. They commented on how fresh the fish was. Suzanne was a fabulous host who looked after us very well, and went above and beyond for us. Thank you for a lovely night!

Good rooms cleaned spotless and all the amenities required. Bar friendly and breakfast was wonderful the young lady was a great chef and very accommodating with extra tea if required. Worth coming back soon. Sandra the manager was a super host.

We were staying elsewhere but ate twice in the restaurant for dinner. Wonderfully friendly & cheerful staff with the freshest perfectly cooked seafood I have had in a very long time. A portion of freshly landed scallops to die for, so often when fine dining a single scallop sliced three times or possibly two is the order of the day. Not at the Murray Arms, oh no, you get a large portion of large, roe on, scallops lightly cooked by the owner as they should be and so often elsewhere cooked until they are hard. We also had a fresh crab started that many restaurants would have served as a main course portion and not as fresh. This is a place we will go back to everytime we are in the area. Outstanding thank you all.

Lovely large room in the self catering annex, with en suite and a view onto the back road. The bed was so comfy, and there was a decent sized TV. Suzanne provided us with milk for the fridge (there were tea and coffee facilities in the kitchen), and we had such a good night. Unfortunately it's the winter season, so the kitchen was closed for evening meals, but the breakfast provided was perfect and plentiful. All that means is that we'll have to go back once the restaurant is open again in the evening (1st April 2024 btw).

our stay at The Murray Arms was Excellent. so warm and cosy. very friendly staff. They went out of their way to reschedule our stay which was postponed due to the Storm Babet. Would definitely go back 5 stars *****

All the people were very friendly and the management kindly refunded us when we foolishly double booked.

Wonderful bar / restaurant with the most amazing seafood available. Seafood platter is huge but fantastic and scallops just the tastiest. Simple Sumptuous Seafood. Relaxed but smart bar area with helpful staff.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner at Murray Arms. We loved that it was dog friendly and the welcome was warm. The dining room is lovely and an enjoyable room to relax and enjoy a good meal. There was a good choice on the menu but the only downside was lots of the seafood dishes came with butter or creamy sauces, which aren't really my cup of tea, but would suit lots of people. Fish and Chips was delicious.
