ソンダー ウェルボーン(Sonder Wellborn)

I want to provide both the positive and negative aspects about this property, since there are both. First, the rooms were much larger than we expected and were very pleased with the room itself, which included a very large sleeping area, a unique bathroom, a coffee area, a living room space and a kitchen, adequately equipped with wine fridges, microwave, and limited kitchen ware. There is a popular bar/restaurant behind the hotel, with a courtyard that is connected and we loved having this area to have an evening drink and appetizers and we could walk to the Dr. Phillip's Performing Arts Center in 5 minutes. We also had no problem with parking. The potential downside for this property is that is can be very noisy on weekend nights, or should I say mornings, like 1am. But, they did provide earplugs and a noise machine, so they are aware. The area is very nice, but like everywhere in downtown Orlando, you will see homeless populations. Although we had a few other small inconveniences, like insufficient water pressure in shower and a clogged sink, we absolutely loved the charm of this place and the convenience and fun of having a nice bar/restaurant with historic vibe literally outside our door.

Loved the facilities. Very clean and very friendly and helpful housekeeping staff. Took a walk by the water and was followed by men who appeared to be homeless so did not feel safe to walk even during daylight hours. The property was very clean and well kept.

Terribly noisy. A wedding each night either at the property or the neighboring property with loud music. Went until 1am on the second night. The walls were paper-thin, could hear other guests talking and walking. Additionally, not enough sheets for the second pull-out bed and a blanket that wasn't even twin sized. Rough stay.

Great, central location. If you go in prepared for it to be a little noisy due to the bar on location, you'll be fine! Great a**osphere in and around the location! Great alternative to a traditional hotel! Would stay again if needed!

We love the property. Only problems I had were the courtyard music went until midnight. Also since the bathroom has a glass wall that is shared by the bedroom. The bedroom gets fairly bright when you turn the light on in the middle of the night.

The history of this property was very interesting. Very clean, and the convenience of the bar in the back yard was amazing, easy to order, great service, and a very warm feeling environment. The lights from outside came through the shutters over the windows and the bedroom was never dark. If you like to sleep with a lamp or light on then you would love it. The venue next door had a wedding going on all night and the noise was heard all night long, literally like having a loud radio in the room. The bed is extra firm, and the pullout couch mattress springs left actual bruises. Other than the sleeping issues we enjoyed our trip and the time here.

Fantastic courtyard anf ambience. No coffee was a drag. The television sysyem was ridiculous. So frustrating. Overall we will come back. Thanks.

My only disappoin**ent was that we were only staying for 1 night. What a gem of a hotel. I had no idea of what we were getting when I blocked it. I was just looking for something close to the amway center. This hotel is in a quaint old house with individual rooms upstairs.. our room had a balcony that looked over the restaurant with music and beautiful landscape and lighting. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the Dr Phillips Center for Performing Arts I will definitely stay here again anytime I will be at the Amway Center or Dr Phillips Center

The property is well maintained and really close to the downtown area. Has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable short stay but is very noisy due to the events venue next door, music from the restaurant area and property maintenance (leaf blowers) going at it since 7am.
