ホテル アルベール II オステンド(Hotel Albert II Oostende)

Great little hotel with a brilliant town centre location. The hotel was clean and comfortable - with the only odd thing that you could not turn down the heating in the rooms. In the bedroom area you could at least open a window but the bathroom was like a sauna the second you stepped foot into it. Breakfast was lovely. A good selection of food, including a couple of hot dishes (egg and bacon).

Whist the hotel is beautifully located for the town and CHristmas markets, when we went there where some issues. There is a small lift to gain access or some very steep, unlit stairs, dragging your case up them was a life and death moment. We where checked in and given a room key (room 124) the room was 'small' but functional. The bed clean. Our main issue was the temperature. The room was really really cold. We tried to turn up the radiator but to no avail. We stayed at this hotel as part of a Christmas market package so arrived with approx.50 other guests who all complained about the lack of heating. some where given extra duvets, some electric heaters, we had nothing. The website for the hotel says there is a warm welcoming bar area,,,,,,this was not in operation when we went. Breakfast was advertised as continental, which it was, coffee/tea, orange juice, yogurts, pastries (mainy fresh) toast and scrambled egg and bacon. Sadly the warm food wasnt warm and the room in which we ate was also freezing , you needed to wear your coat while you ate. This is a budget hotel, we didnt expect the savoy, but the lack of heating made it really quite uncomfortable. Would we stay again? no, never. Its a shame as the building is actually one of the historic buildings in the town and potentially really grand and beautiful, but without heating , when its -3 outside and not much warmer inside, its not somewhere id like to go again.

Hotel very central! The room we stayed in was off the main street. Very clean, staff accomodating when I asked for extra bedding, milk etc. The bathroom was very compact, but good shower with hot water. Good breakfast, continental, adequate choice. Would definitely stay again.

No heating on the first day, when it did come on it was only very slight Room nothing like the pictures on website, very basic indeed Breakfast was okay and so was the location Homeless man did come and join paying guests in the restaurant !! Then no hot water on the morning of the 2nd day, this wasn't resolved and eventually we had had enough and left without staying the second night No apologies or complementation offered - which is disappointing. No response received to the feedback submitted via ***********

Mr. Yu was so gracious and helpful. He answered every question I had about the hotel and Ostend. The employees were very kind and the free breakfast was a treat. The proximity to the beach is hard to beat. The rooms were very clean, too. I had such a good time that I will be back this week with some guests from the US. Can't wait!

It was too expensive for what you got.

Stayed here many times before. It’s clean, friendly staff, great breakfast. Close to everywhere you want to be.

Very good location - we were attending W-Fest, so this hotel was a short walk away. i will return to Ostend for sure. Manager was very helpful and spoke good English.

The worjers there was nice but its juat verry old fashion and not very clean
