Time well spent in this cozy hotel! We were exhausted from the flight and the staff there was very welcoming! Very close to the city center and all the popular sightseeings. The breakfast was on point and the restaurant serves traditional bulgarian cuisine which we enjoyed. Recommend!

Great place to stay

We were 2 couples staying at Hotel Europe for 3 nights. Arrival in the evening and checking in was seamless. However when we asked the night staff at the reception desk for extra tea/coffee, he was very rude and said we need to buy our own supplies. Room service would only replenish 2 coffee sachets, 2 teabags and 2 sachets of cream per 24 hours. I have never come across any hotel that rations tea/coffee to guests. It almost felt like we were made to beg for the drinks. There were some positives to the hotel. The location is ideal. Walking distance from the beach and in the heart of the shopping centre. The railway station was walking distance too, as we took a trip to Brugee. On the first morning for breakfast, the scrambled eggs were placed in the food warmer tray next to bacon slices. Being Muslim, we asked the staff if we could have scrambled eggs prepared separately. Marc, the chef, came out and straightaway arranged this for us. The following 2 mornings, we were offered scrambled eggs, which was really nice. Heidi the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful too. The service offered nowhere near matched the price. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The night staff need to be trained to improve on their customer service skills!

As a Belgian I have to love-hate relationship to our coast. I mean it's pretty and all but hotels like Hotel Europe are the reason I don't like our coast anymore. I visited in high season and wished I would have had the guts to ask for a refund. And this is solely due to the quality of the room and how derelicted it was and how it was in a bad condition. The wallpaper came off everywhere and under it it looked moldy and dirty. I mean it's high season yes but close the room for one night and redecorate it.

Schimmel aan het bad. Koude douche aan het zwembad. De sauna gaat pas open om 17 u. En de bazen zitten lekker in Spanje en trekken zich er niets van aan! We dachten 2 nachten te blijven en op hun website staat dat je de 2 dag zou kunnen annuleren. Terwijl dit niet zo is. Bedankt om het weekend met mijn dochter te verpesten. Hopelijk smaakt jullie cocktail daar in Spanje!!!!!!

D'extérieur plutot satifaisant et surtout tres bien situé a deux pas de la mer et a deux pas du centre et des festivités de Noël. Parking payant a prévoir 25 euros. Au premier abord personne de l'accueil tres froide c est vraiment dommage. Tres peu d explication sur les services. Notament acces piscine et weelness. Chambre plutot coconning et bonne literie. Probleme de fenetre et de chauffage. Il a fallu 45 min pour regler le probleme. Chauffage coupé durabt la nuit par leur ordinateur. Salle de bain qui merite un raffraichissement. Tuyau de douche qui fuit, toilette qui fuit, moisissures sur le rebord de la baignoire. Juste 2 petites doses de gel douche a disposition. Petit dej en buffet correct avec le necessaire pour bien dejeuner. Weelness tres tres petit. Une piscine tres froide et pas tres propre vu le sable dans le fond. Uniquement 2 transats et 4 chaises. Espace sauna et hammam ouvert a 17h.

Chambre 302 propre et confortable mais deux soucis d'importance... Une seule et unique prise dans la chambre, donc avec le frigo, impossible de mettre un pc ou recharger un portable ni même de se raser avec un rasoir sur secteur... De plus, impossible de mettre en marche le jet de douche dans la baignoire. Hormis cela, accueil sympathique et petit déjeuner frugal. Situation idéale.

Vriendelijk personeel, zowel aan de receptie, het ontbijtbuffet en het kamerpersoneel. Kamers proper, elke dag wordt er schoongemaakt. Kamers zijn wel kleiner dan we hadden voorgesteld. Badkamer echt wel claustrofobisch. Ontbijtbuffet top! Veel keuze, lekker brood, echte boter, eieren, Spek, gerookte zalm aan het buffet. Goede ligging, dicht bij de dijk en de winkelstraten. We waren hier in december, het was guur buiten, maar we hadden het lekker warm in de kamer en de rest van het hotel. Er is een zwembad, waar we geen gebruik van maakten omdat het klein is en vaak vol.
