ホテル オステルスンド(Hotell Ostersund)

This was the second year in a row I took my daughter to a mother-daughter trip to the hotel. We had a great time. The room was nice, really gave us the spa feeling as soon as we walked through the door. It was too cold for us to use the outside swimming pool, but we had a great time in the indoor pools. You'll have no problem finding food you like for breakfast, but if you expect a huge buffet, you will be disappointed. But there's more than enough to choose from. We had dinner in the sports bar connected to the hotel (where they also serve breakfast). Great food and good service. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and are already planning our trip for next year. But we'll try to go there earlier, before it gets so cold

Clean, convenient and well-maintained property. Staff was very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to provide for us during our stay. Very comfy beds!

The hotel is decent overall, but we experienced two nights of disruptive nightclub music coming through the walls. Additionally, the lighting in the bathroom is so dim that it's barely adequate for basic tasks, like walking without stumbling. The breakfast doesn't meet the usual high Scandinavian standards. The hotel's redeeming feature is its spa with a great view, but aside from that, our stay has been quite disappointing. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Gillar verkligen detta hotell. Mysig lobby och trevlig personal gör att man trivs. Sen att få middag inklusive är grymt bra. Mv. Mogge Bylin

It's really a great hotel except for three things: 1) it's really poorly sound proofed. I actually heard a guy fart in the corridor. 2) the soap. It's so scented you feel like staying in the shower ten more minutes to rinse every molecule of it away. They should offer an alternative if you want it. 3) no way of controlling the temperature in the room besides opening the windows, and the street outside is kinda busy.

Hair from others in the shower. Room got very warm during night. Breakfast was ok, but had so much more potensial. We drive an electrical car and the 2 spaces made available for charging was taken by non-electric cars. We asked the reseption for help and they just refered us to charging-areas outside of the hotel. Said they couldn’t find out who had parked wrong. We ended up having to walk for about 15 minutes to the hotel(there were no «normal» parkingspaces left around the hotel either). Might seem like not to far, but with a small child and luggage, it wasn’t fun, late at night 👎
