サンパーポンドリゾート(Thumper Pond Resort)

Everything was so great! Waterpark was very fun and open long hours, no extra cost for admission, very easygoing! The chlorine and fumes were not an issue at all! Water was warm, a bit cooler in baby area.

Rooms are outdated and our room's carpet was badly stained. Obvious unfinshed projects in hallways and stairwells. The cholrine in the pool area was very strong where our eyes were burning just sitting poolside. This is a drastic change from what it once was and we still enjoued oue trip but found the resort lacking.

The pool area had severe ventilation issues. Several children ended up with rashes, coughing and puking.

I have multiple children ranging in age from 1-14 and there was plenty for all of them to do at the water park. The arcade was on the smaller side but still plenty for the kids to have some fun. The room was clean and spacious. The only complaint I have is that the hot tub was out of order but I understand that things require maintenance sometimes. The restaurant had good food and a friendly staff. Will definitely return.

This is our second time here. The Wi-Fi never worked, even after we told front desk, pool water was cold, kids did fine but after a while they got cold! The baby pool area was freezing! We didn't have to pay for water Park passes because hot tub was broken but also the slides had to be shut down because of the cold weather. The arcade was fun, but it didn't take credit cards to get tokens, need cash. Some of the games broke the second day we were there. If you can be flexible and be ok with average hotel stay then it will be fine. The rooms were decent, hot tub in the room felt great after the cold water park!

Was not happy the hot tub was not working the whole time we were there. Pool water was cold and so was pool area cold with a big fan blowing on us while sitting in pool area.

We were here two years ago and swore we would never go back. We did. It is much closer to my family's home, and that is the only reason we returned. We were very sorry we did. The rooms still have not been renovated. Dirty, torn carpeting, cracks in the floor of bathroom, the sofa is still dirty with stains, there is zero dishwashing liquid in the "kitchen" area. (sink, microwave, fridge). Also the restaurant there is still closed every time we wanted to use it. Where does the management expect you to go for any meal, Chris**as Eve, and the day AFTER Chris**as? There aren't any restaurants in the area, at all. The day after Chris**as the restaurant at Thumper Pond was still closed. What does the owner of this run-down hotel (in my opinion) expect people to do? Go hungry? WE finally did find a few restaurants, an hour away. So why can't Thumper Pond take better care of their guests? You owe it to your guests to keep them happy. We won't ever stay here again. Never, no matter the circumstances.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The chlorine burned everyone’s eyes n lungs. The ambulance was called. This was Saturday 11/11 if you want to verify with the dispatch logs. A child starting coughing and puking blood. Every person in there complained of the chlorine and the what looked like a ten year old pool worker had zero cares to give about it. The pool Was closed down and we were scoffed at when asking for a refund because the only reason we went there was my daughter wanted to go to a water park for her birthday and we had not been there yet. If you are coming here and not worried about using the water park; the beds are horrible in the room I had-there definitely have not been updated since it was built. Don’t waste your time with this one. Very disappointed.
