Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe

My husband and I had a good stay. The room was clean the beds where okay.. It was just for one night.

Great job at getting the room cleaned and ready

Overall property is "tired". No upgrades and minimal repairs for years (unpainted/scratched doors and walls), shower curtain rod pulled out of wall and not repaired.

We stayed in a room on the first floor Room 105 and had a beautiful king size bed and lovely room. The wonderful lady at the desk helped me get my Wyndham member number so I could use the Wyndham app. I was very appreciative ❤️

This hotel is DISGUSTING. Do not stay here. Im literally sleeping in my truck instead of this disgusting room and this after they even moved me to a new room. Nasty. The tv are so fuzzy you cant see the picture, the bathrooms are nasty. Scum in the toilets, hair all over the bath tub. Nasty floors. Just stay away.

It is showing it’s age and the facility is showing a general lack of attention particularly in cleaning, we had to switch rooms because the counters hadn’t been cleaned.

We arrived late in the evening. All was quiet, check-in was smooth, and room was clean. There's a uniques smell in the hallway. Not sure how to describe it. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillows. The amenities were good quality Dove products. The food. The food was terrible. I am usually lenient when it comes to hotels. We travel a lot and see a lot. My sausage patty wasn't cooked all the way. And the microwave eggs were dried out and hard. Breakfast started at 6. We got there at 6:30 and they were out of eggs, sausage,and waffle mix. It has the potential to be great with a little tweaking.

Hotel is under repair and not a place you want to stay. We checked into our room and the heat and tv did not work. Changed room and the new room tv did not work.

The staff was nice, but seemed like they did not want to be there. Walked into the room it seemed clean but there was a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. The wall light in the bathroom was about to fall as well. I did twll the staff about it as i was leaving. Also i left a pair of jeans hanging out and I brought home a cockroach with me. I mean i grew up in West Monroe so I know that sometimes the bugs can be bad, but still. I will jot be staying in this hotel again. It seems like it has not been taken very good care of by the owners.
