The front desk gave a room key to a MY ROOM . My wife was alone when a strange man walked into our room. Front desk manager said simple mistake glitches in the system no big deal. Bullhockey it is a big deal. This is the second FairField this has happened to us booked by *******. Front management only wants to comp the room this is not enough or acceptable. I expect more from Fairfield and *******. Top management has to speak with before check out. It would be nice if you talked to me as well. Thank you

The overall stay was not bad. The downfall was that when we checked in it was a downpour. Which I know is not anyone’s fault except that when we went to go inside (at 2 or so am) the door was locked and no one around to let us in. We had traveled all night and were exhausted. We called the hotel itself and the phone rang and rang. We tried calling ********** customer service they were no help just said well go find another hotel. The problem was it was a college championship going on and there were no other hotels that had availability. We banged and banged on the front door until finally a woman woke up off the dining chairs and let us in. I spoke to management she said she would offer some type of reward points etc but I never have seen a thing. I get that it was late but isn’t that their job to watch the front incase there was any problems!?

I was not given the type of room I booked. I booked two queen beds and got a king with a pull out couch that was a twin size. It was not a huge deal and it worked out fine, but it is not what I booked. And the bed and pull out were very uncomfortable. I won’t book there again for those reasons. It was very clean though. And the shower was amazing!

The fire alarm woke us up at 2:15 am on Friday morning and we had to get up and leave the building and stay out until the fire department cleared the building. Again on Saturday morning at 6:15 am the fire alarm woke us and we had to leave the building again for them to clear the building. After returning to our room about 20 - 30 minutes later it happened again so we just decided at this point just to gather all our belongings and just leave. For the two nights we stayed there we got little sleep and we were tired and just ready to leave.
We did ask that our rate be refunded or at least discounted and was told we would have to speak with their manager who was no there at that time. We will be call them as soon as possible.

The room I reserved (king bed with pullout sofa) was changed to a queen bed with no sofa without notifying me of the change. The desk lamp had a burnt out bulb and I had to ask twice to get the bulb replaced. Lastly, there was no hot water when I arrived and I had to wait while the maintenance people fixed the hot water. This made me late for my appointment.
