Waiter was texting and would not acknowledge us until after his long text Coffee carafe in the room hadn’t been cleaned or resupplied from th previous guests

Friendly and helpful reception, cute rooms with nice gardens. The pool needed improving though, like the addition of some sun bathing, deck chairs not just plastic garden chairs plus plants need abit more looking after in that area. As well as the pond topping up with some more water.

Location: off the road to Palenque ruins. Car a must have, or taxi. Great pool, poll side restaurant and bar, property located in the middle of the jungle so humidity an issue to be expected. TV, AC, WC did not work but issues were solved reaaaally fast.

My husband & I stayed for 6 nights while visiting the ruins & all the INCREDIBLE waterfalls & we enjoyed the property very much! Check in was a delight! The young man was very sweet & chatted with us for some time. (I prepaid which made check in even easier) I recommend an upstairs room with a balcony & table with chairs. So nice to relax in the jungle setting after playing around all day. In addition, the king bed was sooooo comfortable & room service came everyday to make up the room. My only issue was the bathroom. It’s definitely in need of a remodel but the hot water was hot & the pressure great. I read the reviews about the staff. I’m on the fence about that issue. In the restaurant they definitely don’t jump up quickly or acknowledge you right away & sometimes I had to grab a menu myself, but hey, you’re in Mexico, nobody’s in a hurry & I like that! & the chilaquiles were delicious!! One more thing I’d like to mention. They are doing their part in reducing the use of plastic bottles! There is a pitcher in the room & they will fill it with water anytime. Bravo Axkan!!! We had a lovely time & really enjoyed the beautiful grounds & palapa style surroundings. Thank you!

Terrible guest service. Never say hello, even when we leave the rooms, no thanks, nothing like "how was guys, safe travel". Swimming pool full of people from tours , restaurant leaving the rest of the food that tourists have eaten during the day ( and they are not guests of the hotel ) ... Rooms with spider nets , bathroom door broken ... And LOUD MuSic that you can't rest in your room cause you hear the music. Super disappointed!!!!!

The hotel is far from pretty much everything, the hotel was quite hard to find and the are didn’t have anything to offer. You need a car to go everywhere - they have a parking but once it was full and we had to park far away and walk. The personnel was rude and not responsive on many occasions. We had an issue with the warm water and it took them a couple days to fix it - while being unable to provide any answers or solutions. Cleanliness was sub-standard. The pool was nice but the water was dirty.

This place is awesome! The entrance is kinda sketchy but a soon as you walk past the reception it has that tropical relaxed getaway vibe. The rooms look like jungle huts from outside but are modern inside. Very nice pool and bar, restaurant food is not very good but about 2 minutes down the road is jungle bar and restaurant which is amazingly good and cheap! Staff is very helpful and polite. Indont think i can say anything negative about this place !

Bonito lugar, tranquilo con alberca ,bar y restaurante, la comida rica, habitaciones agradables, no solo descansas sino que disfrutas tu estadía, si les falta un poco en rl servicio, ya qué se ven un poco malencatadas, pero no son groseros
