Traveled the world. Rarely come across such a tasteful and perfectly appointed accomodations. Staff is attentive and quest focused. Location is ideally situated near key tourist interests. Highly recommend if you prefer quiet classic accommodations.

This historic gem charmed us from the start! Perfect location, beautiful accommodations, and breakfast fit for a king (or queen). We loved the authentic Palermo vibes. Highly recommend!

The experience in this uniquely wonderful “Dimora”was unforgettable: class,courtesy,highly professional people made our stay flawless. Highly recommend the experience in staying here. The a**osphere of the pre existing building from the 16th hundred completed the journey and added a perfect note to the entire stay in Sicily.

Beautiful and classy interior of this boutique hotel tucked away from the main road. It was a little difficult to navigate the side streets to get to the hotel but Rosa the owner was very responsive and waiting for us when we arrived. They were able to take our car right away and park it in a private parking. This was so nice to not have to worry about parking in busy Palermo. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was great. Would stay again!

Recently I have gone back to Palermo, to enjoy this great city in its winter looks. I have stayed again at the Palazzo del Poeta, which is my favourite hotel in Palermo. In the winter season, Palermo offers a multitude of cultural entertainment, most of it in its centre, and the Palazzo del Poeta is located bang in the middle of the must-see area. The rooms and service are of the highest standard, as you would expect from a hotel of that level, but the astonishing thing is that the Palazzo itself is one of the top cultural venues in Palermo. Its 'tea with an author' series of talks allow the visitor to mingle with some of italian top authors and cultural trend-setters, in a very informal and cosy a**osphere. I cannot think of another place where all these elements are blended together so well. Finally, the building itself is a hallmark of Sicilian architecture, and it has been renovated to the highest modern standard while respecting its historical appearance.

We first had a bit of a hard time finding this place. We went around the block a couple of times. Do not look for signs with the hotel name, there aren't any. Look for the address and ring the doorbell. It's location is very convenient to visit the various attractions and plenty of restaurants nearby. The decoration in the public areas and in the rooms is very elaborate. There is no reception so you need to look around for a staff member if you need something. You can access to water and some snack at all times. Breakfast was so-so. We had a major issue with the shower. The door would not close completely (open by about one inch). Even when I held the door closed during the whole duration of my wife's shower, water was coming out around the hinges. I had issues on this trip with water puddles in front of the shower but this was more than just a water puddle, it was more like a bucket of water was dropped on the floor. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a know issue. After we complained about the shower, we were moved to another room which was much better.

Outstanding small boutique hotel in a very quiet location.The palazzo was painstakingly renovated creating a little paradise right in the city centre walking distance to all sites, great restaurants etcetera. Everything from the common spaces, the room itself, the breakfast, the staff, and the communication from the owner re suggestions was top notch. It was one of the nicest east stays we have had. Highly recommended!
