Arrived early about 10 AM went to the check-in desk as was informed that my room was not ready but a lesser quality room was available and that I could have it now and receive a reduced rate, they said the reduced rate would be applied when I left when I checked out The manager was not available and I was not able to obtain the reduced rate. I called twice to attempt to get this resolved, no callback and no reduced rate. The exterior was undergoing some renovation, a lot of chipped paint. The interior of the room was adequate, windows were dirty, but other than that the room was OK. Breakfast was pretty good and complementary happy hour was awesome

The staff was very friendly and the service was good. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour with free drinks was nice. However, we had some issues in with our room. The floor above us was very squeaky and loud whenever people walked around. The AC was also extremely loud when it was on. The sofa looked dirty, the hair dryer was gross and the room smelled dingy. We did complain to the front desk about the floors above us and they told us they moved the people to another room and no one would be in there anymore. But the 1st night was rough.

Air conditioning in fist room not working, had to move myself to a different room… cigarette burns in the carpet and a smell of smoke in the room after moving shower walls had soap scum on them head and had not been scrubbed. Well. There were water, bugs or cockroaches in my room and under door, peeling and blistered paint on the outside of the buildings and courtyard, not what I expect from a Hilton property. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I was not compensated in anyway by the hotel for my inconvenience or the poor quality of my room

The property was fine for a quick trip. However, I chose this particular hotel because they had a hot tub. The first night there were close to 8 adults in it so we chose to skip it. The next day there was yellow caution tape around it all day and evening. I called the front desk twice to inquire about it and nobody picked up. So that was a bit frustrating. We never ended up being able to use the hot tub on our trip. Also, the people above us were extremely noisy at all hours of the day. It sounded like someone was running back and forth non stop for 30 minutes throughout the day. Other than these specific complaints, the rest was great! Property was nice, rooms were clean. Breakfast was great. 😊
