パラシオ カ サ ガレッサ(Palacio Ca Sa Galesa)

A former palace that has been restored to a hotel with great care and attention to detail. The design and furnishings effectively blend the original design of the building with modern touches that make it a very comfortable place to stay. The location is right in the heart of old Palma near to the Cathedral but in a quiet backstreet with limited traffic. The staff and service were friendly, helpful with bookings and travel advice and very professional. Special thanks to the Andre (the effervescent and charming Brazilian chef), Ivan on the front desk, Manual the Spanish chef for giving my wife his amazing homemade chilli oil and Francesco for his great coffees! We stayed as a family with our 20 month daughter - and she absolutely loved the place (especially the piano in the hall)!

A really old beautiful hotel in old Palma - small number of rooms so not busy and chef cooks breakfast for you - which was very nice. Downside - the room we were in had very little sound proofing so could hear neighbours tv and doors etc so not so good if a light sleeper. But no road noise etc. Nice roof terrace with views of port and cathedral. We could walk to beach and restaurants and shops, museums etc easily.

A gem of a boutique hotel in Palma Mallorca, with delicate touches of care and beauty at every corner! The hostess was a fantastic human being, and the rest of the staff too. They cared about the environment, which made us delighted. Breakfast was delicious, and the dining room it was served in, couldn't be more beautiful. A very memorable experience for my wife and I, we have nothing but the best of wishes for them.

I’ve been coming to this gem in Old Palma maybe half a dozen times and love it . Hadn’t been admittedly for over 5 years and booked and welcomed by the utterly fabulous Pedro who seems to be in charge and a really enthusiastic welcoming team - Francesco , Mati , all of the reception and housekeeping staff superb as was the talented and charismatic chef . Chauffeur drive to and from airport excellent too and all seem-less via Pedro . The roof terrace is still such a unique feature as you almost touch the Cathedral windows although could be even more special ( showers seem to have gone & less luxury ) . I did feel that the hotel had lost something of its wow factor in terms of a true Spanish merchant house with wonderful art and incredible first floor public areas . The lovely traditional kitchen and honesty bar have gone and there are actually many gaps from where previously outstanding art was displayed . I spoke to a local nearby who mentioned that the hotel has been sold over last few years after being closed for most of pandemic - this might well all add up. All I would say is , still very special and myself and friends will go back but , whilst I accept renovations must occur , be careful that this wonder testament to Mallorca architecture, style and appreciation of art doesn’t get lost . Such a special place which I do accept needs the ‘ right ‘ & subtle investment here and there but Bravo Pedro & Team , great job !

We stayed in a luxury junior suite which was a beautiful high ceiling room, dark wooden floors. Sun was coming in during the morning and day. There was a little balcony where we had coffee every morning. Bathroom was amazing, you just have to see it to understand. Stand alone bath, mirror doors, massive rain shower, wooden floor. All amenities were luxury. We only had breakfast every morning but there is a room service all day menu. Breakfast was soooo good and the lady looking after us every day was super nice and friendly. She also recommended 2 places where we end up going and were perfect suggestions. We met quite a lot of staff and everyone is super friendly, eager to help and natural: the guy that made coffees for us one evening, all the ladies at reception, the housekeeping ladies, the night receptionist and the chef. Thank you all for making our stay the most comfortable and memorable, sorry I didn’t remember names i am very bad with names, but all of you are truly wonderful. We hope to visit again. Thank you 🙏

Lovely staff hotel very centrally located

Außergewöhnliches Boutiquehotel direkt neben der Kathedrale. Hervorragende Luxusunterkunft in Bestlage. Personal und Service professionell und überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich. Bestes a la carte-Frühstück. Hier wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Auch die Nutzung des Spabereich im alten Gewölbekeller war ein außergewöhnliches und entspannendes Erlebnis. Jederzeit wieder!

Un precioso hotel con un SPA bonito y completo. Destacamos la hospitalidad de la Sra. Carolina quien nos recibió nada más llegar nos hizo el check in y nos explicó y enseñó las instalaciones. Mati también al teléfono muy simpática y resolutiva. Nos gustó mucho el trato y el hotel por su carácter, estado de conservación y mantenimiento así como la decoración y limpieza. Hôtel très confortable, super service avec du personnel vraiment sympathique. Je conseille vivement. Situé à quelques pas des rues commerçantes pour passer les soirées, du bus hop on hop off.
