Beautiful property overlooking the ocean- loved the location, walkable to many shops and restaurants

We arrived at check in time. 4 o’clock. Couldn’t check into her room until 430. When we arrived to the room. There was only one towel. Went down to front desk. Lady at front desk said there was no more towels. I didn’t receive the other towel until 24 hours of us being there.

Had 2 reservations and they gave one of our rooms away. Said we are not priority since we booked 3rd party even though I am a Hilton Honors member. Never recieved the suite that was booked which was a 2 Queen bed patio suite and instead got a standard King bed room. They ended up putting us in a standard 2 Queen Bed room the next night but never refunded us the price difference. Disputing the refund now.

The Hotel was great however a few things to note when booking. The view even after booking an Ocean View is not that great. Yes we could see the Ocean but more of the pool and courtyard. Parking here is not good. They have Valet parking but it also cost 22$ a day.

The room smells and the bedspread also smells I ask if can change and didn’t the aisle smell dogs

Our room was a very nice corner room with an ocean front view that was GREAT!!! We saw got to see the Christmas parade from our balcony in our room!!! Very clean and quiet room. ALL of the staff we encountered were very nice, helpful and friendly. The only things we would change is the flashing light in the bedroom all night from the smoke detector (I think it was the smoke detector) was very irritating and the required valet parking (the valet staff was superb and speedy but it's pricey and adds to the overall cost of the stay). Overall we would stay here again!

I don't like leaving negative reviews but it has to be done. The hotel is in the heart of Pier Park and the beach. It's newer and clean. Here is why I won't return. We stayed on a Monday night and the hotel was less than 50% occupancy yet we got a room on the 5 floor on the opposite side of the lobby and for reference that means you have to walk the length of two hotels to get to the room, not ideal. After walking to drop off our bags and leave to go to dinner we walk through the pool area around 5pm to cut our walk in half. Upon our return, around 9pm we decided to check out the hot tub. It was broken and wrapped with caution tape, a huge bummer. We then checked the pool, NOT heated, so we went to the door to get to our room but it was locked and the sign says use the keypad, except there was NO keypad. we walked back to the door we came out of by the bar, locked and NO keypad. There is a phone by the door, NO number to call. 9 didn't work, 0 didn't work 1 didn't work. I started pounding on the restaurant door because it TOO was locked. My wife had to call the front desk to come let us in. we asked if there was a keypad that we couldn't see and she said "No, no kepad" i asked why the door wasn't locked if you can't get back in and she just said "they should fix that" YEA THEY SHOULD! The next morning we wake up to take a shower, NO HOT WATER in the entire hotel!! We talked to the front desk and they said they were working on it, "sorry." There are other options pick those.

The hotel has a machine that blows what should be nice smelling air into the rooms. Maybe the bottle was empty or something burned the aroma, but it smelled gross in the room and the windows in this room didn’t open. After two rounds with the front desk (first time they didn’t send anyone) and an engineer that delivered the machine that I should use to fear the air (it’s very loud, so turn it on when you leave and don’t look at it when you turn it on), I had a headache for three days straight. Hotel was sold out, so they couldn’t move me and I had pre-paid. Not handled well and unpleasant stay.

My room was Amazing! With Awesome views of the beach. This place is a whole Vibe. Im diffently come back.
