I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Despite the size of the hotel and the kindness of the check-in staff, my experience was marred by several issues that significantly impacted the quality of my stay.
Firstly, I waited for two hours to check-in due to what was explained as staff and "system issues." This delay caused me to miss important reservations and was extremely inconvenient, especially with my young children (ages 2 and 4) in tow.
Upon finally entering our room, we were dismayed to find it in an unsatisfactory condition. The floor was so dirty that brand new socks became brown within moments of walking on it. This was concerning, as I did not want my children to come into contact with such filth. Furthermore, the beds were sandy, requiring us to shake out the sheets multiple times before they were somewhat clean enough to sleep on.
I attempted to call the front desk to address these issues, but to no avail. This was not surprising, as throughout the two hours I waited to check-in, I witnessed the phone ringing off the hook without being answered.
Overall, the cleanliness, tardiness, and lack of responsiveness from the front desk significantly impacted our stay. I hope that you can address these issues promptly to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests
