I have booked with Continental for 5+ years. I have never had any issues. I believe that Southern Vacation Rentals have taken over booking. 5 stars all around. Service and communication was great . Condo 404 was so pretty. All the check in and door codes was thru e mail which southern vacation rentals were spot on..

I was skeptical - not the usual luxury condos I choose (not booked by me - booked by husband as a surprise getaway). My husband & I, our newborn and our 4 yo daughter stayed in Room 217 - no complaints. Clean with nice furnishings, good view. 2nd floor at continental seems more like a first floor as far as the view (i prefer higher floors) but still decent. The patio furniture is high quality and comfortable. The hotel "tiki bar" was never open that we saw - that would have been nice but maybe it's seasonal. The pool area is quite unattractive, it shows age and screams "cheap hotel," but clean nonetheless. Grounds were kept up well and parking was never an issue. I'm not sure if I'd ever book here again - but my husband definitely would. It takes way less to impress him, and he was smitten (the lower rate we paid likely contributed to that!) Overall, great family getaway!

We booked this ground floor unit for the convenience of being able to walk out the back door to the beach or pool. We quickly realized that WE WOULD NOT have that particular convenience as it did not have the keyless entry as most of the other doors did. The door only had a deadbolt lock (without a key) which meant we had to deadbolt the door and let ourselves out the front door (garage area) and walk all the way around to the beach or pool. We immediately reported the issue to maintenance but it was never resolved while we stayed there. Also, you must cover the bedroom windows to darken unless you like the garage lighting coming in the windows while you sleep. Also, each year, Continental Condos/Resort Collection manages to provide less and less for guests. This year, no toilet paper, dish soap or garbage bags were provided. We were able to get clean towels daily but we had to keep the dirty towels in our room all week. :-( All in all, we made the best of the trip and had a very good time!

I would leave zero stars if I could. We rented this for 6 days and are still currently in this condo(room 210) unfortunately. I tried to find another room the night we got here but it being fall break, everything was full. This room is dirty and outdated! Nasty floors, dirty furniture and dried blood on bathroom doorway. 🤮Most definitely overpriced. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Avoid renting #306!!! I expect a 490 sq ft vacation rental that costs almost $2k for 5 nights to be up to par! Only 1 of the 3 main lights worked. Bathroom door doesn’t lock, as a matter of fact the door knob on the front doesn’t even belong to the doorknob on the back. The front door is sketchy & is very open around the perimeter. Like anyone could slip a tool in there to open my door!!! The blinds are broken with very little coverage to allow someone to sleep past 6am on vacation! The broom left to be used as needed had soooo much nasty hair on it yet, I’m expected to empty my trash. Can housekeeping not pull the head of hair off the end of the broom with their gloves hand so I don’t have to with my bare hand??? The air vent for the bathroom is in desperate need of dusting! If someone can’t clean the back of the toilet then replace it, the pee buildup from previous tenants put my entire family at risk for contracting blood borne pathogens! The kitchen could use some TLC. Spray the fridge and those counters with some bleach! If I’m going to have to move the dresser to turn on the porch light, then it would be beneficial for housekeeping to move the dresser to clean the dirty water bottle left by a previous tenant out from behind it. Wet ceiling tiles are a source of mold growth and can be harmful to my family’s lungs. VERY DISTURBING & DISAPPOINTING!

We went through southern vacation rentals. The guest services were nice and did put in the effort to give us some compensation for the maintenance issues. The whole rental process of easy, and the lady at the desk was very nice when we got our parking pass. We stayed in 411 wednesday-Sunday. Parking wasn’t difficult. The exterior and grounds were kept clean. Unfortunately this unit was nothing like the photos, and the cleanliness was not what I would “good”. This unit needs serious updates and deep cleaning. The first night we were there we realized the sink in the kitchen was stopped up. I contacted guest services and they said that they would send someone out. No one showed up the entire time we were there. Having to wash out cups in the bathroom sink wasn’t ideal. The unit was very dusty and the pantry was dirty. The floors left your feet black. The bathtub is rusty and feels like it’s caving in if you stand in the middle. There are screws all in the bathroom walls, the outlets are coming loose, and there are places on the walls that have been patched and not painted. The vent has so much dust caked in it. They only give you 4 towels and two wash cloths for the entire trip, and one roll of toilet paper. There are stains on the lamp shade. The door to the balcony is sketchy. Don’t expect to use the beach chairs and service. They were rarely there and if they did put chairs out, they would put them up an hour later. The positives were the location, easy beach access, clean grounds, friendly staff, clean towels and sheets. The a/c was cold. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but I honestly will pay more to stay somewhere else. We usually stay At Tidewater. I don’t think I will ever stay here again. I may give the rental company a second chance at a different location, but I’m not sure if this is the quality they are okay with.

Excellent beach access. No frills but a comfortable place to end each day and get a good night’s sleep

Booked room 414 through Southern Vacations, and the room has since been "updated," so the pictures do not match. The bathroom no longer has a tub but a walk-in shower with non-existent water pressure. Half of the shower is enclosed, but there is no door or sheet, so it can get a little cold while you're showering. One good thing, they included plenty of hooks to hang wet bathing suits and towels. The TV is now mounted on the wall, but at least it's on the wall facing the bed (and not in the kitchen like many other rooms), however it only includes Roku which was a problem with college football unless you had your own TV subscription you could sign in with. The kitchen was well equipped with kitchenware. The AC blew cold air but seemed to be extra cold no matter how high we set the temp. We've stayed at 2 other units within this condo that were either better or same/worse. I'm solely giving 4 stars because of location on the beach, but you get what you pay for when it comes to booking with property mgmt company vs private owner (Airbnb).

420 is a dump. The worst remodel I’ve ever seen. Refrigerator is unleveled because the floor underneath is not finished. The furniture is old and tired. Black mold on the A/C units and bathroom tub/shower combo. The door to the balcony will not shut because the lock is rusted beyond repair. But.. they give you dishwasher pods - if only there was a dishwasher.
