The room was clean and quiet and had most of what we needed but it was rather basic and outdated and overpriced for what it offered. Also, the thermostat was locked so there was no way to control the room temperature.

Was very disappointed did not stay telephone in room was broke they tried to tape it back together bathroom floor had water all around stool asked about it was told it leaks sometimes ended up canceling 8 days that were booked and went elsewhere room was to hot and no way to turn ac down some

Great experience, great location, nice to have a full kitchen in our home away from home! The owners were nice. Easy walk to everywhere in town. Perfect accommodations for a little family. We’ll definitely stay here again.

No one was at the counter to check in . No one was on property. I called no one answered my call. I left a message. . Went to dinner 45 minutes later I came back still on one at counter to check in. I did not stay at hotel requesting a refund on my money

Property is super dated and full of elm bugs. I was bit by something every night I stayed there. Decor inside looks like a late 80’s early 90’s Time Machine. Doorway to bathroom is so small you have to walk in sideways to get in bathroom. TV is the nicest thing in the room but it’s sitting on a dresser that is so small it mine as well be on the floor. There is a swamp cooler that runs all night and there’s no way to turn it off. The fridge is probably close to original, it sound like a Mack truck when it kicks on. The walls are so thin I could here people snoring on both sides of my room. I could even hear the phone vibrating on the neighbors nightstand so yeah, paper thin walls. On top of that my room backed up to the maintenance room I got to hear the imbalanced washer run all evening. Basically, if you can. Stay anywhere but here. Once you check in you are stuck they will not refund your money regardless of the bugs. They say as long as they aren’t bed bugs oh well. The owner is aware of the bugs and refuses to hire an exterminator. I killed a spider in room one night. Great town HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!

Property was very clean and quiet. Very close to downtown. Check in was a task as the property manager was M.I.A. - the sign on the door said he’d have the portable phone with him or that he would be in room 22,24 or laundry “out back” - I couldn’t find him. Not a big deal. I’d stay again.

Paonia is a magical place to visit. There are very few hotel options in town. Winter months are slow here (we used to live here several years). We had to wait quite awhile for the staff to be available to get us checked in which was a bit frustrsting

We stayed here recently and when we checked into the room the bugs were so bad in the bathroom I asked for a broom and dustpan. I swept them up and they kept coming. In the soap dish, in the toilet, one fell out of the informational booklet. All over the floors in the main room as well. The toilet runs constantly and in a drought, this should be addressed. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. There was a kleenex holder, but no kleenex. There is no place to hang your clothes or coats. Overall, the place could use a good superclean. They charged $204.80 to live with bugs.

Room was full of Elm bugs. Could not adjust the air conditioner because the thermostat was in a 'lock box.' Manager was nice but for $180 I would expect an exterminator get to the room before we do. The town of Paonia is perhaps the unfriendliest place in Colorado. As a Colorado resident, I would not recommend it to any visitors.
