We have just spent the week at the Fodele Beach Hotel and had a fantastic time. We were a family of 5, with two young children (8&9). On the second day, our children went to kids club and we barely saw them for the rest of the week they enjoyed it so much! The entire entertainment/mini team by Pink Wave were amazing with our children but we were particularly impressed by the dedication and warmth shown by one staff member, Karina. Karina was kind, caring and naturally engaging and will be truly missed by our children.

Great family time. I went as a solo father with my 83 year old mother, and my 2 kids: 23 months old and 4 year old. Service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. Food is abundant and at anytime. Nothing fancy but very good for the price. Resort has many pools and the water temperature is cold cold. My kids opted for the heated warm pool, and is great they have that option. Plenty of parking at the time we went . Kids club for 4 years old and up. I had a deep tissue massage at the spa and I have to admit that was the best massage in 3 years. I’m a triathlete and used to strong deep massages and Rafael was on point and very knowledgeable about physiotherapy. Our room was a family room which sleeps 4, with a sea view and pool access. The resort is on a hill and has many levels connected with elevators. Not the easiest to navigate with strollers and elderly people. To get to Basilikos, the main restaurant for all the meals, you need to take elevator up to reception and go down stairs (5 steps), or go to a lower level and climb 2 stairs, which means: pick up stroller and climb or go down stairs. Not ideal neither for an 83 year old person. I talked to hotel and they said they are working on adding a ramp. That’s the only thing I see as a negative point in this awesome hotel.

Thank you very much to all the hardworking, kind staff at Fodele for a brilliant holiday. There is an excellent range of facilities to enjoy. Some other hotels can feel a bit claustrophobic, but here, with so many seating areas, the breathing space between the pool and outdoor bar, and an entire private beach to go at, it really adds something to be able to relax and mix things up so much within the same resort; and provides many angles to enjoy the beautiful views of the beach, sea and mountains from. We really enjoyed the superb range of food as part of the all-inclusive, the restaurant staff were especially wonderful, and it was a nice touch to be able to eat in the other restaurants once too, included in the deal (except wine which you would pay extra for) - we went for the Italian restaurant, and had a brilliant 5-course meal served by great staff. I have a food allergy and was impressed with the signage on the buffet items and the restaurant menu. It really helps to feel more safe and secure, having these in place. There was also a letter to sign on arrival for anyone with allergies, which is a good sign of it being taken seriously, though I’m not sure what difference this makes as it’s ultimately on you to choose from the buffet - several times we saw other guests using the spatula across several serving points, which would certainly have risked cross-contamination for me, had we not spotted it, but I appreciate that I chose to come to a hotel with this style of food service and the risk management is on me on that. If we had to be critical, we would say some facilities could be upgraded, especially for a 5 star hotel. The air con/fan in the room wasn’t the best, we could have done with an iron and board in the room (particularly with the smart-ish dress code expected at evening meals), the tv and hairdryer weren’t the newest, and (as shown in my final attached photo) the coat hooks in the room were… upside down and so were totally redundant?! Perhaps they’re just decorative/abstract art! The staff had great language skills and really made an effort to engage guests in a natural, friendly way. And well done to the hotel for adapting as best they could in the face of extreme weather with Friday’s thunderstorm. This showed how especially useful the wide range of seating across the resort can be when nobody is at the beach or pool and the entire guest population is inside all day - they even opened up one of the evening restaurants to give people more space to sit and shelter. We would definitely recommend this hotel! Thank you.

Really nice hotel with everything you need the staff was welcoming and friendly on arrival and during the stay , the hotel room was nice and comfortable with lovely sea view . The food was nice with plenty to choose from . The food could have been little warmer for my liking but overall nice. The al Carte Greek resturant was good . The hotel can be little noisy and busy with children but then again , it is a family oriented hotel. The evening entertainment was ok . Over all it was an enjoyable stay . The hotel staff from the bar and restaurant made the stay more enjoyable , names to mention kastos , Aristea , dimitris , Sofia

The location is beautiful, I was so surprised. All the staff are very welcoming and genuinely very caring all from the village. There was a variety of food all day long., the pizzas were the best I have had and I don’t normally like pizza. The bar staff Domitrious and Sophia always happy looked after us., in the main restaurant Aristea was so sweet always came and asked if we were okay, made it feel like a family hotel. Anna at the beach bar. Manager of the restaurant Kostas was always around, which is nice.

This is not a luxe collection 5 star place at all. We paid almost double for this place than some of the 4 stars we seen in the same area. We’re currently here on day two and the water park is not yet open because the pools are dirty, they look green and smeary (nothing like what the photos on the jet2 website look like) even just walking around the water park it looked very dirty and run down. Around the main pool area there is a very small kids pool which is outside but undercover, this is where all the children play and that pool is heated, unlike the main pool which is very nice but currently unused because it’s not heated and is freezing, I can handle cold water but that was just too much, no one goes in it. Cocktails and beers are pretty good, not luxe tho, same with the food. The beach is closed because of bad weather and there was a land slide, no one seems to be doing any thing about it at all so if any ones due to come Here next week I’d speak to where ever you got your holiday from about a change of hotel asap as again this hotel is currently nothing at all like it is on the website. there is a tractor doing a little bit at the bottom of the Beach but nothing on the hotels part, they havnt even moved the sun beds so that the beach can be cleared. Even outside our rooms the floors are filthy, drain covers all off which my mrs fell over. Yesterday the power kept going off and on all day, which meant certain drinks was off, Wi-fi, lights tvs in rooms etc etc and the staff was just arguing with each other which made us feel like we was a burden asking for drinks etc. this review is purely to give you information that I’m sure the hotel and the likes of the sellers of this holiday won’t tell you and to give you a chance to rearrange whilst you still may be able to. This hotel is currently running at about a 3star plus has no beach or pool to in other than a small childs pool.

All staff are very pleasant and facilities are generally good. Unfortunately all bars are under staffed at night resulting in long queues. The lobby bar drinks menu is also confusing. Despite the menu clearly stating that all drinks are no additional cost for All Inclusive guests until 11pm, this is not the case. There is a second, much reduced menu for AI guests.

Great hotel with high service level. All staff is so welcoming and service minded. Great animation team, thank you Béa, Samu, Chiara and others team members. The morning yoga sessions were so good for my body. And cherry on cake is the spa centre, the massage and facial trea**ents were top quality.
