You owe it to yourself to stop in this beautiful boutique hotel and have a drink and a bite to eat. The setting is taken right out of La Belle Epoque -- France's golden era -- and is a salute to Proust and other intellectual and artistic lights of that time. The bartenders Sarah and Tristan provide an incredibly warm and welcoming spirit to add to the great atmosphere of the place. And they know their craft -- excellent drinks! On some Fridays, the bar at Maison Proust is also tended by Colin Field, who worked at the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz in Paris for decades. He has been acclaimed as the best bartender in the world by Forbes and Travel and Leisure magazines.

The Hotel Maison Proust is an absolute gem. Situated just north of the Marais, it is close to everything in Paris. Maison Proust is a unique immersive luxurious experience. I’ve been to lots of 5-star boutiques and resort hotels. This one has something extra, a “je ne sais quoi”, a soul. It’s all in the quality of the details. Service is very attentive while friendly. The decor is sublime with genuine pieces taking you back to La Belle Époque and Marcel Proust. The bar is conducive to intimate conversations. The library is filled with Proust’s own personal books that you can read. The pool and hammam (that you can enjoy privately) is so lovely that it transports you to a palace of the 1001 nights. I would like you extend my deepest thanks to all the staff members who made us feel at home in the warmest way. This is the best Parisian experience you could wish for. I’ll definitely come back.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Le Marais with individual shops and pleasant bistros within easy walking distance. We were greeted warmly on arrival and upgraded to a junior suite which was spacious for Paris, beautiful and immaculately clean. Our whole stay was superb. The staff are outstanding and the service really is incomparable. The bar is beautifully decorated and romantic. You can book the swimming pool and steam room for an hour alone which was so enjoyable after a day walking in Paris. They even bring you Champagne by the glass! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Five well deserved stars.

Amazing hotel! The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely visit the Spa. Had one of the best massages ever with Claudius. Really nice bar also, great atmosphere and carefully made drinks. Will most certainly return

We spent a week at Maison Proust to ring in the New Year and we could not have enjoyed it more or been treated better. The attention to detail and the warmth of the staff was above and beyond. The staff helped organize itinerary and dinner reservations and definitely helped us enjoy all of our time in Paris with great recommendations. The hotel, front salons and bar are so gorgeous and plush and relaxing. The artwork throughout the Hotel is incredible too! It’s a perfect location in the Marais, walkable to everything and quieter at night. Couldn’t recommend staying here more and once again what an incredible staff. We enjoyed everything about our stay at MAISON PROUST. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location was perfect for our 3 days in Paris. The spa is also a great perk to recover from lots of walking around the city. Henry and the entire staff made our anniversary celebration a truly special experience. We always felt welcomed and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will not hesitate to book here again when we return.
