This is a gem of a place in a great neighbourhood. Wonderful service and ambience. Very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to Le Marais and Latin Quarter. Many wonderful neighbourhood restaurants to choose from.

What a lovely little hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff, very homey and clean. I stayed in the three-bedroom, 2 bath apartment, and it was wonderful. It would be wonderful for a family stay. Very walkable to metro stations and Notre Dame. My dad travels to Paris regularly for work, and he always stays here. Even though you’re in a side street, you’re still in the middle of Paris, so you might want a white noise machine or something for street noise if you’re a light sleeper. Would absolutely stay here again. The place has so much character.

This hotel checked all the boxes. Great location. Clean, good-sized room. Comfortable bed. Interesting history. Charming lobby. Reasonable rates. But above all, the staff was very kind, helpful and accomodating.

I have stayed here for years; it's my come to place in Paris. A beautiful, historical, magical place in the middle of the City of Light. A welcoming staff, reasonable prices, unique back story and architecture right in the middle of (I mean THE MIDDLE) of Paris. Rather than drone on, here's the story of one of my favorite weekends in my life: train from Frankfurt to Gare de L'Est, walk off train with my backpack and stroll 40 minutes through the middle of Paris to the Jeu de Paume. Drop off backpack, walk for an hour to meet a friend for dinner. Spend next two days roaming around the Cité. Flaneuring up to Sacre Coeur, down rue Mouffetard, wherever. listening to conversations in more than a dozen languages. Monday morning go get breakfast (though the hotel's, except for the coffee, is quite fine), then grab my backpack and stroll back to catch my return train. Try having that experience in the USA. If you stay at the Jeu de Paume, Paris will open up all around you like a blooming rose. Just don't take my room!

A superb boutique hotel in Ile St Louis. A beautiful building inside and out, with wonderful staff. A late night arrival was no issue at all. Breakfast is wonderful. The location is virtually perfect. Sensational value for money!!!

A place I'll stay at again the next time I'm in Paris. Fun and quirky hotel space. Fabulous staff who were kind even when I didn't speak French. Excellent and friendly people. And a fabulous location in the center of everywhere I wanted to be. And, it was quiet, which was so important to me.

The hotel is tired and needs urgent attention. Paint peeling off the walls in the rooms, mould in the bathrooms, shower inside the bath that works poorly, coffee machine broke yesterday, no water at breakfast. All just not good enough. The location is great, most of the reception staff are helpful, the lounge area is cool. However, close and fix and open again. It will be worth it.

This hotel was recommended to us by my brother that used to rent a flat on Ile St. Louis. This a great location for sightseeing in Paris. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We thought it was a great value.
