We had a fantastic stay at this Bed and Breakfast. Our deluxe room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back for another stay.

A lovely 2 night stay here in December. The staff are absolutely fantastic and fully devoted to making sure their guests have a great stay. The room was very comfortable, and the food in the bar/restaurant was super too. Would heartily recommend this place.

What a hidden treasure. We checked in Monday and left Saturday morning. Not once did we have a need (per sei). The staff was friendly, professional and quick to provide any service we requested (more towels, coffee pods). The morning breakfast was phenomenal and they made sure you didn’t leave hungry.

Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Super huge shower and dressing area with dressing table and full length mirror. Luxurious towels and linen. Free secure off street parking. Ordered the Haddock and Chips first night and it was very nice indeed. Tasty apple crumble for dessert. Service very good. Second night we ordered Steak, Chips and Salad also Burger and Chips, all delicious especially the chips. Breakfast was a little meagre but the poached eggs were okay. Certainly recommend.

Came to the Hurtwood for a surprise birthday weekend for my husband. Reception staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. Our room was perfect! Beautifully decorated, clean, fresh, modern and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Warm and cosy livingarea with sofa, tv and nespresso machine. Shower was very powerful with plenty of hot water and there is private parking for hotel guests at the rear. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The pub itself was cosy with a log burner and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Food in pub was delicious and I reccomend their pizza's. Peaslake is a quiet picturesque village in the heart of the Surrey Hills and I would thoroughly recommend the Hurtwood.

We booked 4 rooms for a birthday celebration. The rooms were all large, comfortable and well equipped. Host and owner Eileen looked after us very well. She and her husband own the pub as well, but the hotel has a separate entrance and is very quiet. They have not owned the hotel long and there is still some minor work to do to bring it from 4 star to 5 but we were all very happy with our stay. It would be an excellent base for walking or exploring the beautiful Surrey North Downs.

Situated in the lovely village of Peaslake, the hotel was spotless with welcoming staff. Great location for chilling or getting out for a lovely walk. The next door Inn served great food. Celebrated our wedding anniversary 26 years after our reception was held at the hotel. Will be visiting again.

A real gem of a place in a beautiful village. Stayed with our dog for one night to attend a local dog competition. Certainly a dog friendly place! Lovely room, extremely comfortable bed, great view from our window. Delicious dinner in the bar area and tasty breakfast. Very friendly service too. Definitely recommend and in such a beautiful part of the countryside.

Great visit our eighth time already rebooked lovely place for a piece full weekend must give it a look you won’t be disappointed adjoining pub restaurant so park your car up in gated courtyard and your all sorted 👍🍺 the Hurtwood is dog friendly and your dog can stay in your room for a small charge great idea also plenty of good walks in the surrounding Surrey Hills
