Super 8 by Wyndham Peterborough

I have stayed here many times in the past and will continue to stay here. Best hotel in Peterborough. The best continental breakfast going, with a wide variety of foods. I do suggest anyone to stay here.

It must be challenging to maintain a hotel that is so close to a peewee hockey town. The place was overrun with kids doing shenanigans, and the maintenance/cleaning staff were very overworked trying to keep up with their nonsense. Regardless the onsite staff was largely cheerful and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean enough and the bathroom was standard quality. The provided breakfast was adequate as well. Don't expect much from a Super 8. It's more the location than the "luxurious amenities" you're paying for.

Staff that welcomed us was excellent. Jake (?) was very friendly and offered information about the city and was quick to solve issues with room such as room keys not working, more pilllows and setting the tv up so we could watch Netflix. Rooms were ok. Bathroom had black spots on grout in the showers. Continental breakfast was very lacking. My son tried the waffle maker but they came out under cooked and tasted sour. Informed the attendant and they changed out the batter from the dispenser. I assume the batter was going bad. There was no fruit offered but the other items were sufficient.

We had to wear socks on the very old and torn carpet. The vanity and carpet were dirty. The walls were dirty and marked up. This place desperately needs an update. Very run down.

There was snow removal going on at 3am with a noisy snowblower I fully understand that snow removal needs to happen but 3am is alittle much. The pool was ice cold. We specifically picked the hotel due too the pool and the location as it is close to the hospital for our daughter.

Employees were great and accommodating. Service was fast, clean a**osphere and everything is close by. Complimentary breakfast was good and filling. Only thing that i wasnt aware of prior to checking in is that you had to pay an extra $25 fee for a small pet.

Lovely place to stay. The pool was a bit cold but other than that we would absolutely come back

We booked three rooms to come use the pool with family but the pool is freezing and we could not swim and the hot tub was empty

The check in was problem free and quick. Room is spacious clean and comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was amazing. Very pleased.
