ピーターボロー イン & スイーツ ホテル(Peterborough Inn and Suites Hotel)

I felt a little on the fence about how to rate this stay. The hotel itself was lovely and the front desk gentlemen that I interacted with were absolutely wonderful. My stay included free parking and free breakfast, which was also nice. My room was spacious and very comfortable. My only real issue was the noise. It's an older hotel, so it's not really as sound proof as some of the newer hotels. I knew this when I made the reservation, but I wasn't quite expecting the level of noise that I experienced during my stay. I had a street facing room and it was nearly 4am (on a Friday) before I was able to fall asleep due to the noise both outside and within the hotel. You could hear everyone coming and going from the elevator all night, the guests in the room above you as well, and everything happening on the street outside. All of it made for a very rough sleep. This might be something that ear plugs alone could resolve, as otherwise, the hotel was lovely. But if you have kids or are sensitive to noise, I would recommend somewhere further from downtown that is a bit newer. Again though, the hotel staff were seriously wonderful.

Was booked in for eight days from Jan12th until 20th. On booking in was informed that we had to vacate the room on 14th due to hotel closing for 4 days. Never informed before flying from the UK. Not good enough, fortunately found another hotel a taxi ride outside of town. Will not use ******* again. Did report this to ******* at the time but surprise surprise no response.

Great staff! We're in the process of maintenance upgrades which should make the facility better down the road. We were originally facing George Street and that was a loud...but the staff was very accommodating and moved our room for night two which was excellent.

Stayed the night for a local concert, good accomodations. The original booking was for 2 people, but when we needed another bed last minute they had an extra cot for a fee. Beds were comfortable, rooms have sinks and fridges. Adam at the front desk definitely took care of us with a smile, very friendly and sociable.

Friendly staff for sure. Hallways and furnishings somewhat dated and in need of repair. Overall. Room was sufficient and spacious.

I like the location to enjoy downtown restaurants and bars. Front desk staff person was very nice and efficient. Two suggestions: fireplace heater and tv remotes could use simple instructions posted. There was a very bad clog in the bathroom sink drain so I used the bar sink to brush teeth and shave. This made me nervous as I didn't want to be penalized from from damage deposit. Also, a carpet stain by the desk, again this didn't bother me so much, except: do I photograph it so I don't end up in a dispute? I wasn't charged for this either. I would stay again but with more precaution and instructions. I should mention, otherwise room was clean and comfy

Booked this hotel based on location. Room was not ready at check in , front desk staff was very apologetic, checked in an hour later. Room configuration is very odd, 2 queen beds that face each other one window that is too high on the wall to reach to let any light or air into the room. Room had a very strong cleaning chemical smell, that did not go away during our stay. Front desk staff was helpful when fixing our tv. Room is dated, a blanket on the bed would have been nice in November, all there was is a sheet and a coverlet that doesn’t provide much warmth. More than 2 towels would also have been nice. It felt like our room was just thrown together with whatever they have left over. Room had dust on most horizontal surfaces (bed frames, mantel, frames) dirty walls, dirty light switches, slow draining sink, broken door latch. As a ground floor room with no security feature stopping anyone from walking in off a busy downtown street made the stay here a little uneasy. Free parking at the parking garage around the corner and some fruit and juice at breakfast is a nice add on. Again the location was what we booked for.

Nice place... walking distance to many restaurants and short distance to the concert venue we went too... would come back..

Breakfast bar was all cold. They need a new toaster. Parking was unsatisfactory espresso for old people had to walk a block away and walk back no mask the weather
