ホテル・ドルフシュタドル(Hotel Dorfstadl)

One of our favourite places. A truly lovely experience staying here. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. Accommodation is smart, clean, spacious and comfortable. Location is great for ski lifts and slopes. Ski hire is easy to organise and close by. Boot room is clean and tidy with all mod cons. Restaurant is cosy and atmospheric, providing a delicious and varied breakfast offering and a great place to relax into an evening meal. Pool & sauna is a nice option. We also loved our generous outside space on the private patio/balcony area. Highly recommend a stay in this wonderful place!

We stayed at the Dorfstadl between Xmas and New Year in one of the apartments which was huge. It was well equipped with a properly provisioned kitchen, two beds, two bathrooms and a balcony which gave us great views down the valley to where the NY fireworks happened. It was also spotlessly clean and kept that way by daily visits from housekeeping. The apartment complex is part of the hotel so we had access to the restaurant, bar and spa area. Breakfast was included and was just right - cooked options, continental options, fresh juices and coffee etc. We chose to eat in the restaurant on a couple of evenings and were impressed with the quality of the food then too. The modern spa area has an indoor pool, two saunas, a steam room and a relaxation area. There is a further sauna in the hotel but we didn't use this. The hotel is situated around a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of the village which is itself up on the hill away from the valley road. The gondola which takes you up to the main ski area is down the hill. There are not really any hotels which are situated close to the gondola so I would say that the Dorfstadl's location is as good as it gets in Kappl. Choices to access the lift in the morning were to either walk down the footpath, walk to the end of the road and ski a short section of red down, or catch the ski bus (either the hourly service that leaves right outside the hotel or to walk down to the village and catch one of the regular services from there). We kept our equipment at the Intersport next to the lift and caught the bus down and this worked well for us. Kappl itself is quite small but has a number of restaurants, a tourist info and a good Spar. The skiing area is also relatively small (compared to e.g. it's near neighbour Ischgl - a 10-15 min bus ride away) but well-formed. Enough to keep everyone happy for 4-5 days skiing. Anyone looking for very challenging slopes might be better off buying the lift pass that covers Ischgl and planning a couple of days skiing there too. Finally, the hotel staff were very friendly and professional helping us with all our queries and accommodating wherever possible our requests. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would have no hesitation in recommending to friends.

Das Hotel ist der absolute Knaller! Suuuper leckeres Essen, schöne Appartements mit sehr bequemen Betten und vorallem ein total freundliches und kompetentes Team! Unser Aufenthalt war unvergesslich und wir kommen ganz sicher bald wieder!! :) Großes Dankeschön an Nick und das gesamte Team und bis ganz bald!

Endlich eine Alternative zum Doppelzimmer-Hotelurlaub und das auf höchstem Niveau! Wir haben die „Freiheit“ eines Apartments sehr genossen und das Angebot des angeschlossenen Restaurants zum Frühstück und Abendessen ausgiebig genutzt. Sehr hochwertige Speisen und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Für uns der perfekte Urlaub. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen!

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt im Skigebiet. Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Restaurant ist auch gut. Wir hatten super Wetter, alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub.

Sehr komfortabel und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Guter Schlaf ist in diesen Betten sicher. Beim Aufwachen kann man eine grandiose Aussicht genießen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier kann man einen perfekten Urlaub verbringen!

Excellent accueil de la part de la Famille Kofler et de la Team hôtel que nous remercions chaleureusement . Cela a été un plaisir de passer nos vacances à l'hôtel Dorfstadl et nous y retournerons certainement . Très bel hôtel, situé au coeur du village, endroit très calme et reposant Vue sur les montagnes et bel ensoleillement toute la journée Nous avons adoré notre appartement, Très belle décoration, très bien équipé, et très fonctionnel, avec un grand balcon meublé pour y déjeuner ou se reposer . Bel espace bien-être avec superbe piscine . Ménage de qualité, très bien entretenu, rien à redire . Il manquait juste de l'éclairage sur le balcon pour pouvoir profiter de l'extérieur tard le soir et d'un grille-pain au niveau de l'équipement .

Wir hatten ein großzügiges, wunderschönes Apartment. Man hat es geschafft den österreichischen Charme wunderbar ins Moderne zu übersetzen. Obwohl wir keine Halbpension gebucht hatten, haben wir fast jeden Abend im Hotel gegessen, da die Küche ausgezeichnet war und im Angesicht dessen mit einem top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis dasteht. Hinzu kommt der stets aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Service (und der leckere Wein). Zu guter Letzt ist aber die herzliche Gastfreundlichkeit der Familie Kofler zu erwähnen. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen, hat stets einen Ansprechpartner und um einen Spaß ist man auch nie verlegen. Dadurch haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Superbe hôtel avec un personnel agréable et aux petits soins. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Un petit déjeuner copieux composé d'ingrédients locaux et artisanaux. Un séjour vraiment inoubliable dans un village calme, apaisant et bucolique.
