My wife and I had a great time at Penn’s View Hotel. The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were in the queen superior room that was great. There was a large shower, fireplace, and small balcony that were all fantastic. The location of the hotel was also ideal. It is across the street from a lot of nightlife, close drive to The Filmore, but far away enough to not get disturbed by the city noise.

Great historical hotel, every room is unique and very friendly staff. Great restaurant and bar on site but lots of other options with in walking distance.

The Penn's View is my favorite hotel in Philly. It's old school charm, with large (king) rooms, beamed ceilings and gas fire places. It's a nice change of place from the usual upscale chains. Service is personable and attentive. The rooms are immaculately clean and quiet. The Panorama Restaurant on the first floor is a wine bar and Italian restaurant with an extensive wine-by-the-glass selection. Friendly bartenders and first class waitstaff. Indulge yourself, you'll be happy you did.

Close to all of the old historic sites. Easy walking. Parking right next door. Parking is now $35 a night not $30. Staff was excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again when going to Philly.

Loved the property and the front desk staff! The restaurant was lacking. Food took forever and it was a prefix menu so that never should have happened. Portions were terrible and we had two steaks ordered one was under and the other over cooked?? Salmon was fatty!! Great location for New Years fireworks but not worth the money for food. 288 for two!!!!yicks

This was such a quaint hotel with a nice view of course depending on where your room is located front view (which I didn't have) has a beautiful view of Penns Landings. I loved the raw brick wall in the room, very spacious , bed comfortable - the only drawback is the jacuzzi tub - really not needed or used these days - very large if interested in using but would have preferred a shower stall. Staff was pleasant .. will definitely visit again and try a room with a fire place. It was a nice quick getaway before Christmas !

I was not happy that there was a Fly endlessly buzzing all over the place throughout my entire 3 day stay. No mini Fridge or Microwave. The Neighborhood was amazing. So many restaurants to choose on every block. The bus right outside the door. The Train station directly at the other end of the block. Very well stocked bathroom with extra towels and toilet paper.

Went to concert and needed a place to stay. Rather than do a chain hotel, tried Penn’s View. Good value and had a quaint charm. Easy to get back on I95 too.
