ヴィラ レジーナ(B&B Villa Regina)

The two of us just stayed here a night December 2023. When writing this review, I’m taking the price point into consideration. This isn’t a large full service hotel… it’s a quant and historic villa/bed and breakfast type establishment. Staff was friendly, breakfast offered a nice variety, it was within walking distance to Pisa attractions, if a tad far but no issue for us, the room was quite large with a high ceiling, standard Italian style bathroom, they provided free parking on site (you have to drive through the narrow gate)…competitive pricing. Really a nice stay overall. Take into consideration that this is a multi-centuries old building. Lovely.

Lovely welcome. We had a large room on the ground floor which was perfect for us. It is literally a 5-10 minute walk to the Pisa and lovely bars and restaurants would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Michela was absolutely fantastic. We arrived early but she was happy to suggest we park the car and check in. This left us more time to explore Pisa. The next morning Michela helped us with directions to the airport, for which we were extremely grateful. Would definitely recommend this property.

No frills but delivered what it promised! Room was a good size and clean and tidy, very basic but bed clean and comfortable. Strange bathroom layout with soundproofing foam in the inner hallway, just a bit odd. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, a good variety but again very basic setting and a bit tatty around the edges. Great location to walk into the city centre.

Basic but fine. Great location to walk into central Pisa. We stayed one night to tack onto our holiday in Tuscany. The Villa has a faded charm with beautiful features, our room was spacious and clean but very basic and a strange bathroom layout, but again very clean. A good assortment for breakfast with plenty of choice and good service, however the rooftop terrace has a bit tatty and had seen better days, it felt a bit make do. The whole experience was good enough for one night given the great location.

Super kind host and staff, very friendly and going out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast is plentiful. A charming property with all the modern amenities within 10-15 min walk to the old town attractions.

This was a nice place. Walkable distance to The tower and other attractions. I did have a couple of issues. Our bed was not good. It had a large hump that made sleeping hard. The bathroom did not include any shampoo or bar soap. I sat out on the balcony one evening and in the morning to do some work. I was attacked by biting bugs. I had bug bites all up and down my arms and back. The weird thing was I did not see them or feel them.

Arrived a bit late (Delays at Pisa renting the car) but called ahead and was met at the gate. Off street parking and shown to a 1st floor room. Simple and basic but lovely high ceilings and, considering the city location, quiet – apart from one barking dog. Aircon in the room but we didn’t need it. Got a pizza and a beer from the takeaway opposite, cheap and good quality. Good night sleep and then breakfast, plenty to eat and, if you want a sugar rush, go for it. We were allowed to leave the car on their premises whilst we walked into Pisa to have a look at the tower – and of course an ice cream. Took just 15 mins for a gentle stroll in. Considering the car had our luggage in it this was thoughtful and gave us peace of mind. Staff friendly and very helpful.
