I fell in love with Chabli Mar from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by wonderful staff, an amazing view of the Caribbean, private beach area and a beautifully decorated and roomy villa. It was great having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the villa. The food at Chabli Mar was outstanding. The fresh fish, amazing fruits and the coconut rice were just a few of the scrumptious dishes prepared by the talented chefs. I enjoyed swimming in the Infiniti pools, exploring the spectacularly maintained gardens, and walking on the pier. The staff are professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgable and treat every guest like family. The free shuttle service to Placencia village made it so easy to enjoy nights out. The nights that we just relaxed at Chabli Mar were usually spent enjoying the view for the deck of the villa and taking advantage of the pools. I suggest that you take advantage of letting the concierge book your excursions. The tour guides they use are fantastic. Be sure to see the Xunantunich Myan ruins, they are awe inspiring. My favorite excursion was the island hop. We spent time fishing, snorkeling and went to a beautiful remote private island, where the captain of the boat and his crew mate prepared an amazing lunch of chicken, sausage, and the fish that we caught along with a few side dishes. I will return to Belize and I most definitely will be returning to Chabli Mar.

Stayed at Chabil Mar for a week and had a wonderful time. The staff were all incredibly friendly, the villas were comfortable and well furnished, and the food that we had (breakfast every day, and dinner one night) was all lovely. Lacho the driver was especially helpful, would definitely go back again!

The whole overall experience was exceptional, didn't have any complaints. The cleanness of the rooms and attention to detail was off the charts. The food choices, quality and presentation were excellent. Loved the pools and grounds. Would return again in a heart beat.

The staff are amazing and the property is top-notch! If you're visiting for a special occasion, let them know and they'll surprise you upon arrival. Airport pickup was quick and easy and the drive is maybe 5 minutes away. We stayed in villa 10 and it was amazing. Right on the beach with great views. Every time we ate a meal there, it was on our patio. The food was really, really good (we made a meal of the shrimp tostones and cauliflower tacos a couple of nights) although we did try and venture out into town for 1-2 other meals per day. We also walked all the way to the pier and back the first day, which is just over a mile each way. Highly recommend a golf cart if the weather is hot/humid, which it was for us. Our average "feels like" was 109 degrees although the actual temp was only 91/92. The property has a lot of topiaries which are fun to walk around and see but playing cornhole was surprising a highlight for us. Lots of fun even though my wife continually beat me even after we looked up how to keep score (wifi coverage is also great). The pier was pretty at night but the winds/tides were pretty rough so couldn't imagine eating out there while we were out there. Great place and we would highly recommend.

We returned after two years to familiar faces & smiles - each visit to celebrate the kids’ achievements and graduations. Amazingly the resort’s staff and natural beauty continued to exceed our expectations. Always appreciative of the Family Package Offerings, we just picked out whatever adventures we want to pursue & the staff make ‘em happen! This time floating the river in caves, zip lining the local canopies, and eating our catch “blackened” under the stars were some of our highlights. Being with loved ones - now adult children - in such a beautiful, relaxing, & welcoming place was a slice of heaven for us - we are truly grateful to those who put their heart & soul into Chabil Mar! Beautiful, well maintained resort. Excellent and caring staff, especially when my daughter was stung by a stingray. The golf carts and kayaks were used frequently and the 5 gallon jug of water in our room was very helpful. The food from the restaurant was average, otherwise ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great stay in a lovely condo at Chabil Mar. grounds teamed with beautiful flowers - bouquet in room at check in. Staff can arrange whatever you need. The booked our flights from Belize City to Placencia, provided transportation, arranged a private snorkeling and spearfishing excursion. We had most meals on the deck in front of our villa. Great beach and pools with lots of lounge chairs, plenty of towels and a great little bar. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

We absolutely LOVE Chabil Mar!! Every.little.detail is perfect! From being greeted with a welcome drink...to the well appointed condos...to the fresh flowers in the room, to the amazing and attentive staff! Perfect place to call a home base to fully explore Belize...from the ocean to the jungle...you can do it all from Placencia since you are on the mainland. No additional puddle jumpers required once you get to Placencia. We spent a day island hopping and snorkeling the vibrant reefs and another day touring the tropical jungle on the Monkey River Tour! We will certainly be back!

Fabulous!!!! Beautiful. Ten out of 10 on it all! Food was the best in Palencia. Grounds looked like paradise. Staff and service were excellent - they went above and beyond for us. The front office gave us excellent guidance on the area and things to do. The condo was nicely equipped and comfortable. Coming back to reality is difficult but the experience was exceptional!
