コスタス & クリソウラ(Costas & Chrysoula)

We did not actually stay here but used the pool facilities and found them to be great. The pool was great and although not massive is very deep +2.9 M. Friendly staff and the some of the best chips i have eaten ;-). Will be returning again next year.

Amazing place, so friendly and welcoming, nice size pool, rooms are great and the owner Strick doesn’t take any Messing around from misbehaving visitors. Recommended great breakfast and helpful, good facilities at the hotel and the town, bar man Angelo makes the best cocktails and is a good conversationalist . We are so impressed with our stay at Costas & Chrysoula and only wish we were here for longer! The pool was unfortunately out of use but it didn’t matter at all, as the beautiful beach is only 3 min walk away :) Breakfast was great and all the staff are lovely. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Gorgeous spot tucked away among some fantastic local restaurants. Thanks for a gorgeous mini holiday! Hope to see you again soon. Hannah & Linda xx

Apart from the last year, we have been guests of Costas and Chrysoula, (K&C) twice a year, for the last twenty years. The reason we keep coming back is that we always get a perfect holiday. What makes it so perfect is the team of people K&C have at the apar**ents and the Gorgona Restaurant, they are a mixture of family and employees who have been with the family since we first came here. They are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. If they were Olympic Athletes they would each achieve a Gold Medal in their roles. I have posted on here, see previous posts, on how good K&C is. . . We English fear Covid more than any other nation in Europe, this post is to assure you , English people, thinking about coming here, how safe we found Plakias and the form filling etc, is far less difficult than you may think. Firstly, on arrival in Heraklion, one of every couple was tested for Covid, the airport was very, very busy. Things were very quick. We had our test, collected our cases from the carousel and were in our taxi, heading for Plakias 30 minutes after we landed. Three hours later we got our negative result. K&C ordered our taxi down to Plakias and back to the airport, each time the vehicle was a mini bus/people carrier for at least 10 people, the driver wore a mask, lots of ventilation and sanitiser and antiseptic hand wipes. At the apar**ents, lots of sanitiser, masks compulsory for breakfast, excellent social distancing, felt very safe. At the Gorgona Restaurant, on the sea front, the front and rear walls were completely open, there was a through flow of sea air, like dining in the open air. . . The same as all the bars/restaurants in the same area. In the Supermarkets, masks and social distancing at the checkouts. You will need a test, to prove you don’t have Covid, at Heraklion airport when you check in, on your return, contact Kostas, he will tell you where to get the test, it is 20 Euros at the local doctors, we booked an appoin**ent before we left Manchester. The only other thing you will need to present at Heraklion, on departure, is your downloaded Passenger Locator Form. . . Printed, or on your iPhone / device. Go on , the paperwork is nothing. The risk is negligible if you’ve been double vaccinated. Get down here . . . We got back on Thursday and we’re off back again next month. . . Maybe, We’ll be in the pool bar with Agghelos at beer time, 18.00 hrs if you are a returnee. Sent from my iPad

Deze zomervakantie verbleven wij bij Costas&Chrysoula. Kleine kamers waar wat renovatie geen kwaad kan. Verder prima plek om te vertoeven, goed ontbijt. Tip: kies voor half pension want je dineert bij restaurant Gorgona aan de kust waar je gewoon a la card kan kiezen, echt super!

El personal es muy amable, la piscina es agradable y la situación del hotel es buena. El único gran inconveniente fue el baño, que tiene una ducha muy pequeña

Es ist so typisch Griechenland dort. Ich liebe es und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.😘
