H10 ランサロテ プリンセス(H10 Lanzarote Princess)

This is not a4 star hotel, more 3. Needs serious updating and refurbishing, service is slow, we ended up setting our own table most meals times. Food is passable although I am fussy and expected a better quality given its 4 star rating. Pool area was good, room was pleasant enough and kept well by the cleaner although the bed wasn’t changed until the penultimate day of our 10 holiday, think there was training going on. Air conditioning was noisy but didn’t need to use it, it would be different in July and August though, a glass light fitting dropped out and smashed onto the balcony and chair, thankfully no one was sitting in it!! The beds were hard and uncomfortable but they put a topper on when requested. The entertainment is ok but I don’t understand why they have 2 lots on the same evening, also the Papa***o lounge bar/entertainment hall needs a serious upgrade. Apparently there was a gym, I never saw this, which is annoying because I would have used it, I was going to suggest a gym, perhaps they should make it more obvious where it is. The location is great. Having said the above I would consider returning on a b&b basis purely for location and pool. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, although in some areas slow, but everyone is trying their very best.

The H10 Lanzarote Princess is well situated in the picturesque town of Playa Blanca on the south of the island. The location could only be improved by transplanting it across the road just that bit closer to the beach. But that would be being picky. The LP enjoys a fine aspect and is ideally situated for exploring the locality. This is a very comfortable place to stay, it is clean and bright, well spread out with lovely well maintained gardens around the grounds in general and the pool area. There are plenty of sunbeds poolside. This does not, sadly, deter those among us who feel the need to be up at the crack of dawn to place their towels on loungers, before taking up occupancy several hours later. Such is life, what can you do? Regarding food at the LP, I think to be fair you also have to be realistic. This IS mass catering. All food (aside from an Italian Restaurant and a Japanese Restaurant within the LP) is self service buffet style. There is no shortage of food and many choices are available. This can lead to having a right concoction of foods that have no business being together on the same plate - it's your choice! We were happy. Breakfast being our favourite meal of the day. We slept well. Couldn't hear a peep from our neighbouring rooms. We stayed in room 1064 with a balcony view over the Cactus Restaurant and pool area. The room was spacious, having TV, coffee / tea making facility, phone, and safe for valuables. The staff are friendly and efficient, they are worked hard at mealtimes which can be busy at peak times. Our only mistake? We regret not staying longer. Wish we had 10 days or even two weeks. Thoroughly recommend the H10 Lanzarote Princess

Have stayed at the H10 Lanzarote Princess many times. Never disappoints, Staff, Food, Rooms, all fab. The hotel is going through some upgrades, but that did not spoil the stay. Staff fulfils all your requests, food is buffet and there is a wide choice to choose from. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are big with all facilities. There is top end entertainment over two bars every night, so if you are happy staying in, there is no need to explore all the restaurant bars' music venues, but that would be a mistake. Playa Blanca has loads to offer, and the hotel is close enough to walk to all amenities. If you are looking for a hotel for your partner or with the kids, this is the hotel for you.

Enjoyed our stay at this spotlessly clean hotel with a great location. The staff were helpful and professional. Our room was large, tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The lobby area was beautiful. The poolside area and other outdoor areas were well maintained. There was an impressive selection of food for breakfast.

April visit – we have been to this hotel previously. The public areas of the hotel are kept spotlessly clean. The pool area was jet-washed at 7.30am every morning. There were spare sunbeds even at 2pm in the afternoon – but maybe because this early in the season. Can’t fault the hotel, and it is in a good location, 5min walk to the main beach across the road. My only gripe is the chaos in the restaurant during the breakfast peak hour – around 9am. No clean tables, so had to sit at a dirty table and wait for it to be cleared, or lay the table yourself and hassle the waiters for cups and cutlery. I understand the staff are busy, but management need to look at this and provide more waiting staff. The chef at the omelette station looked stressed having to cook both omlettes and fried eggs – not ideal queuing up for 15mins waiting for an omelette! Dinner wasn’t much better either – if you didn’t eat within half hour of the restaurant being opened, you had no chance of getting a table. One evening was so full, we had to wait to be seated by the manager. Again, something to be addressed by management. The chef at the griddle station looked thoroughly miserable – it would make sense to have a 2nd chef to speed up the waiting times. Food replenishment also needs looking at – there were countless evenings where guests were waiting around for food to be replenished, then as soon as the trolley came out, guests were diving in before it had even reached the food counter! We didn’t sample the entertainment that was on offer, but it seemed the pool music dance sessions were a big hit. Other than that, we enjoyed our time here, and will no doubt return at some point. I would just like to say thank you to Abraham in the restaurant – what an amazing guy – friendly, attentive, spoke to most of the guests, in various languages – a real asset to the hotel. Top tip - eat early!!

Every about the hotel was good except for the main restaurant. It was very disappointing! Lack of vacant tables. Lack of crockery and cutlery. Lack of staff to help. The food was arranged in such away it was hard to plate up a meal. The hot food was cold. Lack of vegetables. All of this resulted in dinners being left very frustrated and aggressive, which is not what you expect on holiday!

Hotel is in ideal position, close to all amenities.All staff are very helpful and happy to sort any problem efficiently. Cleanliness is second to none. Been to Playa Blanca many times to different hotels and this is certainly one of the best.

The positives first The hotel location is good. The Staff from bar, rooms and restaurant staff are very good. Bed very comfy and room very very clean Negatives. The food. I was there a week, we leave tomorrow and not one meal was hot. It was Luke warm at the very best. Frustrating is a massive understatement. You could wait for food to be replaced and it was still lukewarm. Why put cold plates out for hot/warm food and hot plates for salads. There was four adults in our party and none of us was impressed with the food. Re entertainment, Thankfully there was pubs nearby.

A truely diligent service right throughout all of the depar**ents of the Lanzorette Princess Hotel in keeping with their overall high standards that the H10 Group hold. I would like to particularly convey my greatest gratitude to Assia, who is in guest relations. She went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. A mention too to Tycho from the reception desk who was so well versed in all and was willing to answer all our questions with such pride in his job. I would highly recommend this hotel.
