We love this place! Very friendly staff. It was our second time. They even remembered our family from last year. Food is fresh and tasty, maybe lacking a little variety, however it didn’t bother us. Amazing desserts! It is a smaller walkable resort, easy access to the beach. Great entertainment and water sports staff. Very close to Playa del Carmen center.

Our family of 4 had a great stay. The resort is small but we liked that. The entertainment in the evenings was awesome! The buffet was ok. There wasn’t too much variety but we could always find something we liked. The ala cart restaurants were good and in a 7 day stay we could book three. We also spent some time at the sister resort which is a 5 minute beach walk away. The staff is lovely and they all work very hard. Our biggest complaint was that my kids lost their towel cards and the resort charged us 40usd. We didn’t loose the towels, I tried to explain that if we lost the towels, I would have no problem paying but they didn’t care. So basically I was charged for a piece of plastic that is worthless. This was annoying and we left feeling frustrated.

Pros: the common areas of the resort are nice (restaurants, snack bar, pool, beach) and the staff provided great service. Loved that it was in Playacar and walking distance to the shopping complex. Loved the evening shows too. Check out process was efficient. Cons: Check-in was so slow; we were in line for 45 minutes. The rooms need major updating as they are old and outdated. Also, I couldn't understand why there was only 1 trash can in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. It filled up so quickly, too since it was tiny. Toilet paper and kleenex were so flimsy and poor quality.

Beautiful property and very nice, professional, and knowledgeable staff. I love the kindness and friendliness of all the staff. Excellent service! Will definitely come back!

Really nice place. Everyone keeps the space clean. Excellent beach and beach chairs. The staff is helpful. Bartenders are excellent. Entertainment crew does a good job.

This was a great stay for our first time in Mexico! Gorgeous beach and within walking to 5th avenue (probably over a mile walk) and great shops across the way. Food and drinks were good. There was staff consistently cleaning communal areas and our room was cleaned everyday. Who needs top end when you can get the beauty and all-inclusive here?

Very clean hotel and grounds. Even the beach was cleaned up at night and the sand was raked or swept in the mornings. Lots of activities going on throughout the days and great staff attitudes. Food was alright. Buffet was kind of the same foods for the whole week but they switch up a couple items. Wasn’t my favorite but the food wasn’t bad in any way. I just wish there was some more authentic flavors. Overall a great place to stay with a family or as adults with no kids. It seemed like there was something for everyone.

The hotel was not too big and the facilities were very good and easily accessible. The beach was beautiful and the food was tasty with a lovely choice of restaurants, and also at the Viva Maya. There needs to be slight improvement with finishings/ decor to ensure rooms have no gap especially in the bathroom area where bugs can get in. Recommend this hotel if you are travelling with children.

Pros: Decent food at the buffet, beautiful beach area, Nice ambiance around the resort, everything is pretty clean Cons: The doorman doesn't speak any English and he let our shuttle to the airport depart without calling our name (we were waiting on the front stairs watching him the entire time, there goes $150). The staff aren't the nicest / customer service is lacking. Margaritas and cocktails also do not taste good (they use artificial sweetener)
