While staying at the hotel we had 2 TWO extended BLACKOUTS!!! During these times we had massages and facials scheduled and no one contacted us to them being cancelled, no offer for inconvenience (one time we stopped an activity short to make sure we could make the appointment and no one even bothered to contact us to let us know there was a blackout at the hotel and the service couldn't be provided). The buffet food was not that of a 4-4.5-5 ⭐ hotel rather than of a middle of the road hotel. Only one omelette station was open for over 60 people, and often running out of ingredients. The service people were great, the food, temperature of the food, consistency all below average. There was no beach front, the water area was gross, rocky, with sticks, pipes and other debris.
What this place does do well is they have one exceptional reservation restaurant that we ended up eating at 3 times, because you can't book more then 2 reservations in advance and all the prime times are already taken. We even had a reservation at the overally salty hibachi restaurant one evening, with no call for verification and when we missed or time by 20 minutes and then arrived (we had it down for a later time, thinking we were showing up early) they told us NO.
If your a smoker, even if ok not in the room (gross anyways) the smoking areas are in the worst places and there is no shade and no umbrellas in case of rain. I wish I could say the rest....but no more space
