I loved almost everything about the hotel, close to 5th Avenue, ATM downstairs along with 2 convenience stores and 3 restaurants, 2 pools and a great fitness center.
However there's potential for improvement. Towels weren't always available at the club upstairs, Friday night the neighborhood music was extremely loud (not in hotel's control). A final comment - I noticed some water leakage around the toilet cistern on the floor on the last day, I was leaving so didn't complain but I wonder if there's a plumbing issue which would be a serious thing.

Terrible experience. Extremely noisy area with bars blasting loud music every night, ear plugs required to sleep. Water faucet broke, closet door broke and AC broke on the final night. Hotel staff very unhelpful saying that the ac was down in the entire hotel and couldn't give me a new room, when the lobby had AC. Finally they did give me a new room which shows they were lying and simply didn't want to change rooms.

The pool look dirty and have several tiles lost. The room didn’t have a fridge and the towels were stained yellow! The personal were attentive and helpful! We are never stay there again.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Fiesta Inn Playa del Carmen and both times I have had pleasant stay. Friendly and helpful staff, from the front desk to staff by the swimming pool - my teenager kids had lots of fun swimming and enjoy a pizza by the pool deck. The room was spacious, comfortable beds and excellent AC - plus good cable channels. We had no issues with WiFi during our stay. 5a. Avenida is just a block away and a 7/11 just outside the hotel. which was great! No loud clubs or bars nearby. We'll be back next time we visit Playa del Carmen.
