Good man running the place and normal situation

What a great surprise…… Retro sophistication! Rooms are bright, big, high ceilings & CLEAN. would have been a plush executive hotel once looking at the quality of wood & seating. We were very pleased with our stay after worrying about other reviews. Breakfast was delicious, staff so friendly, everyone cared if we were ok. Pool area was great, plenty of room between me & other guests. Garden was beautiful. Short walk to central Polis 5minutes from an amazing cake shop & the eloquent ‘Herb Garden restaurant’ I would definitely return - thank you

We visited the hotel two weeks before our stay, the reception person, was totally confused about our booking. Two single rooms and two double rooms, in total 6 adults. It took over half an hour to get it sorted. On arrival, we arrived with a group of other friends who had also booked on line. To say he was rude, I know it all would be an understatement. Ours was two singles and two families?? ( after we have previously been there to sort it. Told other friends of our they had not booked, even though they had confirmation on their phones, it was faulty towers, with a Cypriot Manwell. Eventually most got rooms, !! Advicado bathroom suit from 1970, no shampoo or shower stuff, had to hold the mixer Tao shower head up to use the shower. Towels were multi colour and different sizes and had had seen better days. The sheets were clean, but stained and covered with an 1970’s eiderdown. The decor is old and dated 1970’s) At 21:30, the place was virtually in darkness, no bar, no food, not even a coffee available. Breakfast is to be avoided, even the coffee was disgusting. I am really sorry to say this but, has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I have traveled the world.

I have a lovley time. The pillows were lovely The rooms are pretty basic and dated but its a great place to have as a base if youre out and about alot enjoying the island. Pool area is lovley and the view is beautiful Staff were really nice and made us feel welcome.

This hotel deserves 5 stars. We arrived with a warm welcome, Both men that own the hotel and work here are very friendly, welcoming and catered to all our needs. The room we stayed in was amazing, a double bed and single, full balcony with an amazing view over the pool and you even get sea views. Was amazing for sunsets too as the sun set over the mountains on our balcony. We enjoyed traditional Cypriot breakfasts every morning with a friendly service. The hosts were around most of the time to answer any questions we had. The beach is a 10 minute walk along a lovely quiet road. Within 5 minutes walk we had over 30 cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. The area is quiet and comfortable. The owner even let us keep our room for the extra day as our flight was in the evening at no extra cost. We will definitely be staying here again, 100% recommend for a quiet peaceful holiday! We really enjoyed our holiday here and did not come to Cyprus to moan and complain. The hotel is basic but a great base to enjoy the local area which has great restaurants and lovely beach. The pool is nice, the bed firm (which I like) the staff friendly and leave you alone (suited us) no frills, cheap holiday. We will return!

Very basic hotel. Very old decor, looks like hasn't been updated since the 70s/80s. That doesn't bother me too much but this is a very basic hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no life. In a decent location though, walking distance to everything in central Polis. Shower bracket was broken in shower so had to hold shower head in 1 hand whilst showering. Turns out this is the same in most rooms as everyone else in our group had same issue! Air conditioning not great, 1 setting (on) with no temperature control. Centrally controlled. Customer service was quite poor though. Man on reception very unorganised and quite rude at check in. When one of our group made a complaint they received a very rude and inappropriate response. Wouldn't stay again.

Disgusting. Dirty. Very old building. Very mean and insolent staff. Do not choose it even if it’s your only choice. Prefer to go on camping! Definitely not going again. I have nothing good to say about this hotel and its a shame to everyone who keep this hotel on apps like this and booking!
