ドリーム ハウス(Dream House Pompei)

This place exceeded our expectations. Very clean, artfully furnished, and quiet, is in an ideal location. The personnel is friendly and genuinely caring, and the breakfast is abundant, varied, and freshly made. Highly recommended. Great value for the cost.

We didn’t know what to expect of staying in Pompei. We were stopping to see the ruins on our way to Naples and had a car. We wanted something that had available parking and was walking distance to Pompei ((within 20 minutes). The description of Dream House seemed to fit the bill. What luck. We weren’t sure if we would need the parking and even though we had it reserved they offered if we wanted to save the $ and park on street. May not be same during high season but that was generous. Mario at front desk was great! Called day of our arrival to say he could accommodate an early check-in (typically 3 but our tour was at 2). He was terrific all the way around, explained everything and even told us the fast way back from Pompei archaeological site. Note it is not a 24/7 desk however they were accessible when we had a bit of after hours confusion. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our room right next to front desk and not a problem noise-wise. Complete value for money. And the breakfast…probably best we had at any of our stays of the trip. The city of Pompei was a pleasant surprise and the hotel was accessible to a great area with shops and restaurants (shortly to post review of delicious Casa Gallo). Highly recommend.

We only stayed here for one night but it was an excellent place to stay. We had a twin room for our teenage boys and a double for us. The house is on a quiet residential street with a lovely garden to sit in. Molly the resident tortoise is a real character. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good with decent coffee, pastries, grilled vegetables (!), yoghurt and fruit. Mario couldn't be more helpful and allowed us to leave our bags after check out while we went to the ruins (which are close by) for the day. Really nice place.

We loved staying at Dreamhouse! The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and friendly. They held our baggage until our room was ready, which is much appreciated. I was greeted by name when coming and going. The breakfast spread was wonderful. This location is very walkable to the main shopping areas, restaurants, and the Pompeii Archaeological Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Dream House Pompeii. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The hospitality was excellent as was the breakfast. We were a very short walk to Pompeii as well as to the train station and excellent restaurants.

Just a short walk to the ruins and many shops and restaurants. The information prior to arrival was easy to understand. The property felt secure as it was behind locked gates that could only be opened by reception or with a key card. I was warmly welcomed and during my stay I felt that nothing was too much. The room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. My only two small downsides were that my room was allocated just steps from reception, which meant I could hear everyone coming and going and reception phone calls being taken. I could also feel the springs in the mattress, which was a little uncomfortable. Had I stayed more than one night I would have requested a mattress topper. I would come back to this charming b&b.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and always willing to help and go the extra mile. I look forward to staying here again the future it is located near to the entrance to Pompei (amphitheatre) and restaurants and shops are all in close proximity.

What a little jewel of a place, great host and charming room. Excellent breakfast choice and daily maid service in bedroom. Near to the excavations and central to new Pompeii and bubbling high street with shops and restaurants. My only slight issue was that the room was a bit cold ( in February) for our first 2 nights but when mentioned to Mario it was sorted. Watch out for the territorial tortoise in the garden! He's a bit grumpy but amusing. The Pompeii excavations are just amazing and we spent 3 days exploring all points on the map, having our hotel so close was a definite bonus as we didn't have far to go after 20k+ steps per day. Visit out of season for the most comfortable weather and less crowds.

We loved it here so much we canceled our room in Rome and stayed here another night, (3 total). Our room was beautiful, comfy, decent size, and we had a gorgeous view of Mt Vesuvius from our window. Breakfast was the best here than anywhere in all of italy from Florence to Pompeii. I will miss her grilled vegetables and smile. Great walking distance to shops and great Gelato, and small drive to the Pompeii Ruins. Mario was friendly and kind making us feel very welcome.
